No DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in any computer on the vehicle? Full vehicle scan. Is the security light lit also? With these lights - brake light, traction light, abs light, & battery light coming on codes would have to be stored in one of the vehicles computers. I would almost bet a U code was stored in one of the modules. U codes are communication network problem codes. You might want to find a different repair shop.

That vehicle does not have a starter relay. Does the vehicle have automatic or manual transmission? Turning the key to start sends battery voltage to the clutch switch with a manual trans. and trans. range switch with automatic trans to the s terminal on the starter solenoid. You probably have contact problems inside ignition switch.

Hi, it sounds like there might be an issue with your breaks or breakpads sticking whenever you decelerate from high speeds. Try "pump breaking" or applying the breaks for short bursts of time in order to slow down to see if this dodges the issue. If so, I would still get the break pad or system checked while still mentioning the full issue to the technician. Thank you.

running the fuel pump dry wrecks them, it is fuel cooled and fuel lubricated pump and dry wreck them,. but now has problem #2 the starter is dead, dead slient. here are the causes. (all) and tests. if confused tow it to as shop or ask AAA to jump start it. does jump starts fail>>> this is key fact this. (power)

1. check all fuses first. under-hood box and cab.fuse box.
2. head lamps must be bright, key on and key off, are they>?
3. if bright the starter relay and or starter solenoid will click or chatter, my but the relay is tiny sound now, is it clicking? keyed to start.??
4. The car has manual or autotransmission, guess AUTO
5. Auto , PRNDL, put gear shift to N, from P, using foot brake key on per the users guide, and next crank it in Neutral. does this magic trick work>? the users guide even tells now. this test finds a bad PARK switch in the tranny.
6. ON this car the PCm and BCM run the starter relay totally.
7. this means they must be happy and cars battery charged and never below 10.VDC. or they MALF.. voltmeter checked.
8. Now the IP cluster, is the IMMO lamp lock glowing wrong?
9. if yes, IMMO does not like your key ,try both?
10. cluster show hood switch open, cranking is blocked, is hood open or there are hood open errors>?
11. that is it for now, as you can see doing jumper cables jump start cranking is hard with #10 hood up. oops fails. I bypass the hood switch to do this. and is a double switch , ouch.
12. if car has remote start option all this gets more complex.stop

well the service manual covers this for sure NO DTC told at all (all of em') what engine is this. and what transmission, we can not guess that the VIN and RPO codes tell this easy/ OSS, errors. (most are on the tranny tail shaft but this is FWD. is most time this. 1: bad sensor. 2: bad wires to it. 3: transmission slips bad, caused by lots of things, bad clutch pack or low apply piston pressure or the leak or any gross internal leaks of VAST possible. 2007 is year one. made 3 autos were sold with car. new 4-speed 4T45-E automatic 6-speed 6T70 automatic 6-speed 6T40 automatic let me try to guess which one it is . bingo wiki nails it (USA cars) 3 engines to but below is XE: so they say.... NOW THE NITTY GRITTY FACTS HARD ign1 FUSE NOT BLOW OR IP IS DEAD, ZERO POWER TO IT. the can bus nor serial class 2 bus must not be dead. or IP goes dead. all needle meters go dead too. like that or fuse IGN1 dead. or PCM /ECU nor and more. the whole IP runs off a network. real. and very modern that year. IGN1 fuse must not be blown.

There are multiple computers in the car that have to talk to one and other. There is the ECM or ECU and it talks to the BCM. Sounds like the BCM is having issues.

cars, check fuses first the scan the PCM see error there YOU WILL but you forgot to look first then ask the blind to guess. the brake pedal (not emergency) does that ,it is shifter lockout. on all modern cars. a lockout solenoid on some clicks the operators guild told you to step on brake and shift out of park autmatic trans not stick shift manual transmission. do not break the brakes;. speedo dead is 1 of 3 things (beside stated blown fuse) 1: IP cluster bad or wires on back fell off. 2: IP cluster CANBUS network dead. 3: speed sensor VSS1 dead. in all 3 cases the scan tool tells you all that in seconds flat.

USA OBD2 scan tools. vast choices, endless. ,hand held or simple PC or phone adapter.

There is more to then just replacing the lifters, pushrods need to be measured to see if they are bent, they need to be measured for length wear, the lash needs to be set, the springs should be tested. Best thing to do now is a cylinder leak down test to see if the valves are all seating correctly etc.

2004, 2.0L or 2.2L engine? chain drive cam, no cam belt. manual trans shift or automatic, (guess AUTO) will not crank (starter motor is silent ) and crank shaft does not spin, 1: check all fuses first. 2: try cranking Park if fail try Neutral. (hold brake pedal to shift) 3: the IP cluster, is the security lamp glowing wrong? step1 check all fuses step2 scan the PCM no car can diagnosed lacking the scan tool. the TCM shifts,it why would you ignore the errors it stores. be pain that, or get the car fixed in a shop.

There could be a lot of reasons. One could be that the air vent actuator is moving. Set the air management controls on a different setting and see if that changes the clicking.
