I have a 2004 range rover and i noticed while i
Hi,
Probably the ride height sensor has failed or come unplugged, Crawl under the right side and check it is still connected, if so undo the arm connecting it to the lower suspension arm. Now get someone to start the car whilst you manually move the sensor arm up and down. If nothing happens to the ride height the sensor is gone,or the wiring is damaged or something, and will need to be replaced
Wiring diagram for the radio on 2004 range rover HSE with harmon garden sound
I believe the radio in the Range Rover is wired DIN standard which is used with some minor variations on the majority of European cars across Europe.
I think there are three multiway plugs plus antenna. One plug provides four pairs of speaker wires, one plug carries all the power requirements and the third plug provides a bunch of wires for the steering mounted remote control.
Sorry but I don't have a diagram to hand but you shouldn't have much bother finding one.
Air suspension inactive.
Get a kit to replace air suspension...most likely you have compressor problem like many rovers...
Hdc inactive range rover
In respect of the display message 'HDC inactive'. I have and still do
occasionally get the same message. I took the vehicle to a
Land Rover
dealer and was informed it was a common problem particularly when the
vehicle is started from cold and more so during cold weather. The
dealers have it registered as a bulletin repair and are able to provide a
remedial fix, however it's a case of the display message being present
when you take it to the dealer!!!!!
I have a 2004 Range
I have had the same issues with the ignition switch, you can replace the switch, but in my case the solution was actually a new battery. The early L322 Range Rovers have a very high power drain with the vehicle turned off. I have never found a good solution for this except for a main battery cut-off which is not a good idea due to computer issues. If you have periods of time when you do not drive for over 2 weeks a cut-off would be worthwhile.
Load test your battery, and replace if necessary.
A number of warning lights can come on when the battery is disconnected (or very low in charge), with a good battery they usually will go off after the vehicle is driven for about 100 yards.
Ignition Key won't turn ?
Replace the battery in the key. There is probably an interlock between the doorlocks and the ignition key. Steering will not operate until the ignition key interlock functions and the engine is started.
My 2004 hse take water too much
The coolant can only go in one of two places - either onto the road or into the cabin via a leak, or through the engine. Look all round the back and under the motor to see if coolant is leaking anywhere - especially from the valley gasket, radiator hoses, heater hoses, heater core etc.
If no leak is evident, it has to be a head gasket or worse. Make sure the engine does not overheat or a slipped liner may result - thousands of dollars.to fix
Loss of power
This is not something you can fix yourself because it could be one or several contributing factors, ranging from the fuel pump, blocked filters to a faulty ECU. Go to a specialty service operator (preferably not a dealer) who can diagnose the fault accurately
How to upgrade range rover sport gps 2008
To upgrade, if you have the CD/DVD/MP3 disk system, you need to purchase the new map disk from the appropriate map seller. I believe that is Navteq for all Land Rovers. It is specific to your VIN so when you install it it works with your VIN only. Sellers of these disks on eBay and other venues will tyell you they will work and most of the time they will not. The disk not only upgrades your maps but also the radio and the GraceNote music system as well.
Here's a link to a page that offers free shipping for updates. Looks like the latest update is for 2011-2012 so you might want to call Navteq and check. I have a 2013 and they won't release the 2014 maps even though the car is new.
No air conditioning on 2004 range rover
Please ask an actual question, including SYMPTOMS of the failure, and any TROUBLESHOOTING you have already conducted.
If the best you can do is say "it doesn't work," you should probably not attempt to fix it yourself.
Iam getting rain in my 2003 HSE why.
And where exactly is this rain coming from? The sun roof? The door seals? Seeping in down in the footwells (soggy carpet)?
Sometimes "rain" can be mistaken for A/C condensate that is not draining due to a plugged condensate drain. If your A/C is running and it's hot and humid out then you should see some water drips on the ground underneath the front area of the vehicle. Let it sit in one location for a few minutes after you come in from driving it. Let it sit for a few minutes with the engine and A/C running. Move the vehicle and look for the telltale wet spots from the condensate drain. If you don't see a wet spot then chances are the drain is plugged. The condensate will back up and drain inside the car ...typically in the passenger footwell and making the carpet wet.
I need to know all the components and how to work them on my 2004 range rover
To charge the battery, use a Dextran Battery Tender or a C-Tek automatic battery charger as T Patrick suggests,. These will not allow you to make a wrong connection and will charge a relatively low battery in about 24 hours or less with no battery damage and no damage to sensitive on-board gear as well. I have used both and prefer the C-Tek because it has multiple functions, even one for cold weather and can be used for motorcycle and small engine batteries as well. Plus, it has rings and a connector that allow a permanent connection to the battery so all you do is plug the charger in without needing to use clamps or removing the battery cover each time. The Deltran also has the ring connector available at extra charge, but the C-Tek came with it. I charge my battery about every 4 months to keep it in top shape.
