As a maintenance item, you may want to pour 1/2 c of household bleach into the drain line downstream of the drip pan to minimize the future growth of algae. The switch is held in place with 2 round clips. Pry the clips off and then the switch comes off. You cannot reuse the clips so buy them when you buy the switch.------- See the image of clips.The 2 clips that hold the switch in place.
