there is one website more but i don't remember its name it was 2 years back bitman something link this
Try these out brother
Check the vent in the gas cap. Vacuum in the tank will build up and prevent fuel flow till relieved. When it won’t start, take off the gas cap and listen for the sound of air rushing into the tank.
Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. Does it start and run? Do the brake lites work? Usually, you step on the brake in order to shift. With some shift interlock systems there is a bypass button by the shifter, You press that button to shift into neutral with brake set. I don't know if this vehicle has that bypass button, you'll have to look.
If the vehicle is still sitting along side the road, call a tow truck, have them take it home or to a repair shop. It's no fun trying to work on a vehicle along side of a busy street.
Sounds like a ground issue...Check your battery post and ground wires..Also could be vapor locked..Next time it stalls loosen your gas cap...If you here air suction going back into your car and if starts up that could be the problem..Your vapor canister is clogged causing the pressure in your gas tank to become greater than your gas pump...Then the car shuts off until the pressure in gas tank goes back down..
The wires from the ignition switch probably has this spliced into them. Remove/cut ALA990k out of harness and match the same color wires and splice them back together.
This doesn't make sense a cat con should last the life of the car. For a cat con to go bad there must be excessive heat in the system to melt the material in the cat con. For two cat con to failure there's something wrong.
No, the fuel gauge not working wouldn't have anything to do with your not starting problem , probably the gauge is bad . With the SECURITY light lit , anti-theft system problem ! Service light ????? Service engine soon ? Or service vehicle ? With the light's on code's DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are stored . Have it checked , don't guess as to what the problem is. This would prevent the buying of un needed parts .
I had the problem and when i took it in they wanted a ridiculous amount of money to fix it.. It is the security system failing. i did a ton of research and found a module that u can install yourself that will bypass it and allow the car to start every time.. i did mine like 5 years ago and i havent had an issue since.. you car is on the list year make and model for having this problem i guess its really common in GM vehicles .. Check out this website they have great customer service and if for some reason it does not work they will refund you 100% of your money!! I hope this helps ya i know how frustrating it is.

Is this the one ?
CONTROLS IGN 1
Red (10)
Powertrain Control Module/Cooling Fan Control Module/Automatic Transaxle
The wiring or one of these listed above has a short . Disconnect the cooling fan control module and see if the problem goes away , if it does you need a new cooling fan control module . Do you know where it is ?
if the obd ll port not working replace the accessory fuse ---if just no codes and system ready thats the normal setting you want --do not clear codes and or change batteries since doing so clears all memory and vehicle has to recycle through all emissions to be ready
How long since a tune-up? Check applicable trouble codes? What led you to the fuel pump as being your problem?
Usually if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse.
Only crank the starter motor for a few seconds at a time, let it cool off, a little.
I do realize, sometimes visually checking for spark, can be a pain. Also, checking fuel pressure can be a pain if no Schrader valve, but, not impossible.
I'm not saying the pump can't be your problem, it could be, just check the other issues, also. The fuel pump is in the gas tank.
Check the black power wire from the main wiring harness to the harness for the blower control, that's what I found wrong with mine after replacing the resistor and blower motor. I just jumped it with a 20 amp inline .
follow the lower radiator hose to the engine. There is a silver housing that connects the hose to the engine block. The thermostat is in this housing. You can buy the whole assembly, with the housing, the thermostat, and the gasket at your local auto parts store.
