It is impossible. Your car has an antitheft system on it. Without the chip key or transponder key, your car will go into antitheft mode and disable the starter or injectors. I doubt it is fine.The warning light is on because the computer found a problem with something that can affect performance and emissions.You may need to try a different place to scan the computer for codes.The light stays on until the problem is fixed and the code is erased.

Are you asking about the Intake Air Temperature sensor? If so, it's in the ductwork leading to the air filter and the electrical connector is on the outside of the duct.

Code 440 is for a leak found in the gas tank vent system.The computer vents the gas tank to the vapor canister and there is a leak somewhere in the system.Sometimes it is the gas cap.

Common problem with these engines is that the intake gasket fails on the number one cylinder. To test get some carburetur cleaner and spray on intake runner where it meets the cylinder head.
