Check whats the problem is on my non heat blowing heater on a 2003 cayenne

First, be sure she is not overheating...gauge temp normal? Then start with the basics...check coolant level, inspect for leaks, sounds like fan blows OK, thermostat may be stuck, most shops can compare motor running water temp with a hand held gauge, these are the least costly common problems...check test radiator cap for proper pressure, a small problem but large side effects...Hope this helps.

03 cayenne PCM does not switch on!

Came across this problem before. Check in the back of the vehicle where your amplifier is. Make sure there isn't any moisture on it. The rear washer lines maybe leaking and shorting the amplifier out. If this isn't the problem you may need to have the P.C.M. recalibrated, especially if you've added any upgrades. Good luck.

You need to take it to a Porsche dealer to have the computer software updated. The sooner, the better! Until then, turn off your PSM (Porsche Stability Management), to see if that helps.

Cayenne s 2003 dash warning light brake proportioning . Solution?

Not sure if you've solved your problem but I do have the answer. Also you failed to state that your vehicle will not go into drive because of this warning, which is generally the situation. When the drain ports under the hood clog, moisture runs down under the rug on the interior causing the wiring harness connectors on both sides of your vehicle to corrode. You need to remove the kick plates that cover the rug. Pry the rug away to expose a plastic shroud that covers the harness, just in front of each front seat on the floor. At this time you'll probably notice how wet the rug and it's foam backing is. Dry this out with towels and a hair dryer. Remove the harness cover. You'll see a clear plastic cover and a harness which looks like it's covered in electrical tape. Unwind the tape. This will expose the harness and connectors. If I can remember correctly, there is three connectors on each side, driver's and passenger's. See how corroded they are. Some maybe broken off. Cut back and clean these wires. Before connecting them, use a fine sand paper to clean the wires. Make sure these connectors are facing up and now cover them better than Porsche did. I used electrical tape and plastic wrap, followed by black plastic pull ties. The drain hoses, terminate under the vehicle, just in front of both doors. You'll also need to remove the plastic covers under the hood on both sides of the engine compartment beside the wipers. This will expose the firewall where the drains are generally full of debris like small sticks and rotting leaves. You'll save at least $2000 doing this yourself. Not knowing how to do this, it took me approx. 3 hrs. to do the job correctly. Good luck.

Hi ihave porsche cayenne 2003 does'nt start when you crank its doesn't and its shown press pedal then lights still on then dme lights on, so what is a problem?

Do you hear anything when you try to start it? If not, it's probably a bad battery. Your dome light (and all other accessories) require a tiny amount of power compared to your starter, so, it's possible that your battery has enough power for your dome lights but not enough to start the car. Try jumpstarting the car, if that starts it then you probably need a new battery.

Porsche Cayenne S options

You can deactivate the parking sensors by pushing a button on the roof (it's up above you on that black panel, button located next to the dial used to open & close the sunroof). Push the same button to reactivate the parking sensors. As for the interior lighting...you can turn on or off at each light station but you really will have to refer to the manual for changing overall settings. You should have had a manual with the car when you bought it????!!!!
