I have a 2004 KIA optima and my battery light came
If you are able to continue to start the car there is at least some charge getting to the battery. With the car running the battery voltage should be between 12.8 to 14.2 or so. If it is too low it could be the brushes in the alternator are worn out and if you know how to do it you can just replace the brushes and not the whole alternator. The light being on would indicate that the voltage is low.
All lights flashing ran down battery
It sounds as if the alarm immobiliser kicked in and you didn't have the key coded to turn it off.did you recently disconnect the battery? Or change the one in the remote.if you did you may need to get an auto locksmith to reconfigure the key to the alarm ...it is worth getting a spare key if you do as this can cost anything from £75 up to have done.

Why does the ac comp fuse onder hood keep blowing
Possible direct short in compressor clutch. Disconnect wiring harness from compressor and then turn AC on> If fuse doesn't blow, then problem is in compressor/clutch. Suspect it to be seized. If fuse blows while compressor disconnected then problem in wiring.
My 2004 Kia optima shut off will driving. It cranks but doesn't want to start up. Can any body help me?
Well , it's probably missing one of three thing's , spark , fuel or compression ! Now you need to find out which one , pull a spark plug wire an hold a screw driver in the end of the plug wire an hold it close to ground an have someone crank the engine over ! don't hold the screw driver by the metal , you don't won't to get zapped . If there is spark spray some carburetor cleaner into the engine at some point ,vacuum hose ,air intake , the throttle plate would be best , there is usually a black tube going from the air filter box to the engine ! A couple of clamps holds it on , take it off an the engine side you should be able to see the throttle plate ! If it tries to start after spraying carb. cleaner in , you have a fuel delivery problem ! Fuel pump relay , fuel pump driver module or the fuel pump it self is bad ! Now if you have spark an sprayed carb. cleaner an it did not try to start you need to check engine compression ! The timing belt may have worn enough for it to jump time a little causing it to be out of time ! Back in the 80's the little cogs on the belt would wear off an the cam shaft wouldn't turn . Back then it was easy to check by taking the distributor cap off a see if it would turn while cranking the engine !
