You must likely have a broken blend door or blend door actuator motor.

As in it comes back out from the spout or leaks out from underneath?

Fuse, fuel pump, ecm, failed sensor, out of gas, bad alternator, etc.

If you have a check engine light on, get a scanner and see what codes are present. THe diagnostics for this are pretty extensive and it might be solenoids, valve body or the whole transaxle.

U did not short anything out - if you did you would have seen and/or heard it! Somehow, you inadvertently disconnected the power to the fuel pump. Is the fuse any good? Relay?

Just check the fuse box for a blown fuse

A leak of what? Are you sure it is not just condensation from the A/C?

You need to clarify your question. I have no idea what you are asking here.

What are and were the codes? Were the catalytic converters replaced? Sounds like the typical clogged cats. It could be the cats broke apart and clogging the exhaust system. My scanner tells me much.

Visco fan or termostat problem. Fan not working 100% or stuck termostat

2 ways. Just assuming you have no bottom drain plug, you can remove the filler hose and stick a siphon hose into the tank, and siphon out almost all of the gas that way. Or you can get creative and throw battery power to the fuel pump and let the pump empty the tank for you. I think you could do it at the fuel pump relay.
