Sounds like a bad coil pack 1 and 3,if you change it and it's no help,see if you can find the vacuum hose that goes to the fuel pressure regulator, ,if there if fuel in the hose ,it's bad

If the bulb where burnt out the turn signal would flash faster than normal. I can't imagine that all four bulbs would be burnt out as Thomas suggested. This would be the only possible way that the bulbs would cause the turn signals to completely stop working. Here is what I would suggest. If the turn signal arrows in the dash illuminate along with all the turn signal bulbs but they just don't flash than replace the flasher. If nothing illuminates than than first male sure that the tunr signal fuses are good. If they are let me know and i'll get you some more diagnostic info. can you clearify how hot the vehichle get's when you go up a hill?

Of course your car is sluggish, cylinder number one is misfiring, that is why the flashing check engine light, if you continue to drive this car this way you risk the exhayst system overheating and starting a fire. Ge the car tested for the cause of the misfire asap.

The transmission in this car is electronically controlled, so if it isn't shifting properly the very first thing that must be done is to have the TCM (transmission control module) scanned for fault codes, in your case it is likely the a sensor that is called the VSS is defective. Have the test run. Aamco transmission repair will do the test for free and the preliminary diagnosis for free as well.

If the battery is old it need replacing

If you have spark and fuel it should run. If it won't run, and mileage/KMs are high you may have a problem with the timing belt. Should be changed around 100K and can skip a tooth which will keep it from starting.

Check the headlight relay, and check for loose connection. Unplug the headlights, and see if you get some voltage while the switch is on. Low voltage reading indicates a loose connection. Listen for a relay if it clicks when you turn it on. Pull out the relay open it, and check the contacts for signs of arcing characterized by burned apearance.

Means the computer in your car detected a problem which is a code that goes to the computer and let the engine light goes on.
