!998 KiaSephia. Will not start

It prpbably needs new battery-it will get to the point where even a jump will not start it but you should have your battery charged and clean the battery posts and the clamps and make certain they are tight first before you bite the bullet and buy a new one.

All,dash lights came on-gas,all,then power

Could be a bad alternator diode and it wasn't keeping the battery fully charged, which could be indicated by dimming lights, loss of power, or completely quitting when voltage becomes too low to properly fire plugs.

The squealing could have been a locked up alternator (probably caused by a bad bearing) and the drive belt is slipping on the drive pulley, making the squeal.

Hope this is of some help.

Clutch petal doesn't come back up it stays down

Usually it's just that the seal goes bad and dirt/moisture enters the cylinder. A telltale sign (apart from the pedal sticking to the floor - especially when hot) is the fluid in the reservoir turning dark / dirty - is should be clean and clear.

The master cylinder can fail in a similar way but they're usually not so susceptible - sometimes what kills the master is dirt ingress from the slave.
