I have 2004 xj8 and when driving the car at about 50mph or 5th gear it starts jerking while accelerating. I let of the throttle it stops.

sounds like the tcm is trying to fail..but lets 1st start with a simple reset...disconnect the neg term and let her sit for 30-45 minutes...also have the ****** flushed asap, and then take it to jaguar and have the latest software upoloaded ...ZF has a new software for this jerking issue...

I live in south Fl, and when the temp goes below 65 a message appears Air suspension fault and the ride is very bumpy. When it warms up, it rides fine! Whats up?? Thank-you!

the only thing will cause the fault light to come on is the pressure in the retention tank located in the trunk underneath the spare tire...,once the pressure drops, then the suspension pump relay makes the pump refil the tank...the cause of this is usually a leaking shock...normally they will leak around the upper caping...one sign is that the car will be lower overnite then normal or if it sits for a long period.if the front is lower then its a front shock..the bumpy ride is the fault system lowering the car from the leak while your riding..

What is the recommended oil

I switched to a full synthetic oil, and never looked back. You can get 10000 miles out of full synthetic easily. Some people say you never have to change it, but i go 10000 and have for 90,000 miles and still runs smooth as the day i bought it. Castrol Syntec is a very good synthetic oil.

How do i replace turn signal lights

Its usually pretty easy. Which one are you trying to replace? Did you buy the correct bulb? If your replacing the front turn signals, pop your hood. Look behind the turn signal it should be fairly easy to spot. It can be covered up sometimes or exposed. just grab it turn it and pull it out. careful not to put too much stress on anything else around that area. if your replacing the rear lights. then pop your trunk, and look exactly where the lights are. There could be a cover or matt blocking it so just pull if off carefully and it all should be exposed.

How do i disable valet mode om a 98 jaguar vanden

Try inserting the key into the drivers door lock and try centrally locking and unlocking all the doors a few times. If this does not reset the valet function try using the key in the drivers door lock and pressing the fob at the same time as locking and unlocking the doors. Even with valet mode engaged you should be able to access the trunk by physically inserting the key into the trunk lock.
