How often should i change my oil?
definitely not once a year at 8-10k. 3-5k miles on average and if a lot of highway miles 4-6k and if you don't put that many miles on it then at least 1 once a year no matter how few miles

Is it difficult to change a termostat on a 2005
hi, this is a difficult job to do and not so much hard but realy difficult to get to the parts you need to undo but here is the best way:
just behind the top of the radiator, a hose runs from left to right. This hose is also just below the air filter box and the battery box and therefore difficult to see. Just about at the right end of the air filter box the hose has a hard plastic T pipe that branches off in a downward direction. At the lower end of this you'll find the thermostat mounted on a triangular flange and held in place with 3 bolts. The output of this then transitions into about 4" length of hose again before transitioning to an matal pipe that is kind of J shaped. The lower 4" section of hose is held in place by two spring clips, these are a pain to get to by the way. I found it easiest to remove the hose from the thermostat with it still bolted in place, similarly I bolted the new thermostat in place before replacing the hose. This way you have something relatively solid to pull or push the hose against. With that said the J pipe is also a tight fit in the space so none of this is easy to get to, it doesn't help that there is some kind of sensor mounted on the engine just adjacent to the J pipe.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance also could i just ask what makes you think the thermostat has gone let me know then i might be able to offer you further assistance ok

I have a 2003 s-type jaguar and the doors do not
I suspect you have a bad lock switch. Most likely, it is the switch in the driver's door. If you play with the switch and get it centered just right, the clicking noise should go away. Then, when you try to lock the doors with the remote, they should lock. A replacement switch is a cheap and easy repair.

I have a 2005 S-type R with the nav system. I
That means that your car wasn't fitted with bluetooth module from factory. You can purchase at dealer but you're talking around $1k and from what I hear isn't the greatest.
I got a visor mounted blue tooth speaker from Motorola that works great in my 2005 S-Type.

I need to instal a phone to my S type Jaguar
Have you contacted jaguar to be sure the car is wired?
Just because there is a phone symbol on the stereo means nothing.
They all have that.
Go to Jaguars web site and email them with you cars VIN number and ask if the car has been prewired.
they will get back to you in about in 2 days and let you know.
If it has been prewired you can get it set up for a price, if not, you are out of luck.

2007 Jag S-Type and I work with Bluetooth "No Phone" Error
This means you have no wiring set up.
To find out if your car was prewired, go to the Jaguar website and email them your VIN number and your request for info, they will look it up and email you back within about a day or two and tell you if the car was prewired for the bluetooth.
If it was, you can get the bluetooth up (very expensive) and if not prewired, I am afraid you are TOTALLY out of luck with your current car.
The manual does not discuss th "no phone" message that is only covered in the Bluetooth manual.
Does not matter if it is touchscreen or not.

My 2005 will not allow me to pump gas when it is
Could be that something is inside of the filler neck that is blocking part of the hose like when someone tries to steal your gas and breaks off the hose or leaves it in your tank. Sometimes the way the hose is routed causes it to take slowly. Engine light on means there is a code set that indicates a problem. You can go to one of the automotive stores and they will read it for free. Then come back on here and post what code it is.
