Engine light continues to come
Hi Caes431,
It would not be enough just to have the codes cleared. Whatever caused the warning to come on the first time, must be attended to and rectified. As the warning is still coming on it means the reason has not yet been attended to.
The vibration as you've described it may be caused by the same problem, as it would seem to be coming from rough engine performance and could be related to the emission control.
The jolt you're experiencing would seem to be something to do with the brakes....I would suggest that further investigation is required with particular attention paid to the fitting of the calipers.

This car has an external amplifier. Something is wrong with the amp. Check your fuses and make sure that the fuse is not blown. Sometimes the fuse will not be labeled. So it is best to just check all of the fuses. If the fuses are good, then something internally in the amp could be bad.

Brakes may be sticking a bit. Do you have 4-wheel disk or drums in the back? This is more common in drum brakes that are not self-adjusting properly. If you have drum brakes, check to see if the drums are snug to the hub. If not, adjust to snug. If you have disk, check the parking brake adjustment (does it pull up far to lock?). If you need instructions, let me know and I'll try to look them up for you.

first off, if the vehicle was taken in to the dealer for this issue before and it still has not been rectified, you still have entitlement to the warranty. Pull out your owner's handbook and get the 1-800 number for a service rep and give them all the details. I'm confindent that someone will step up and make this right, Especially if you have been a continued customer. Have the VIN ready when you call. It is not a phaetom problem. Intermittent maybe but these can all be tracked down with the proper technician. I highly doubt they ran a battery test or charging system test to get a baseline. Please feel free to contact me again if you need anything further.

Cigarette lighter fault Jaguar S Type 2005 2.7 D
Sometimes the lighter has a small built in fuse. Get a test light and check the center pin of the socket, it it does not have power, take the socket out and check the wire, it the wire has power, the fuse is bad. Sometimes you have to buy the whole socket to get the fuse, but I done know about your particular socket on a Jaguar.

Equinox 2005, Air Conditioner blows hot air when
Most likely it needs to have the freon recharged. This is very common with R134A systems. You can do this yourself or have a shop do. Doing it yourself requires that you locate the Low pressure line, don't worry, the recharge can adapters will only fit the low pressure side, and to follow the directions on the can and watch the attached gauge. Over charging your AC is very bad and can cause very expensive damage. All the instructions you will need for using the recharge can will be printed on the can. Follow them. If you choose to do the job yourself you can get the recharge can with Hose and Gauge from Walmart, Auto Zone or just about any places you can get Oil, plugs and Oil Filters at.
