I have 2 problems on
You need to have both reset with specific reset tools. Faults can be cleared w/ OBII reset tool but SRS has to be done by dealer or specialty shop because it's a safety issue and the tool is REALLY EXPENSIVE

Hand brake wont switch of
Call the Jaguar Dealership about your problem. Jaguar issued a TSB about electric brakes applying and not releasing.
You should be covered for free. . Another problem was transmission engaging reverse when accelerating away from a stop.
This is a safety concern and can cause an accident and injuries in both cases. Your dealer can resolve these problems with anupdated programming to the cars ECU .

I have aproblem getting gear
Hi,it sounds like a shift lock problem. First make sure your foot in on the brake, ignition on, then wiggle gear selector. If still stuck check linkage adjustment beneath center console on right side of gear selector.
You should also check under the shifting mechanism for loose change or other small items that might have gotten stuck between the gears and baseplate. Fixing this only costs time.
You may have a safety switch where you have to press the brake it may have gone bad or your ignition switch also has a safety interlock that could have gone bad.

Please help me. The electric
Hi, this is a common problem normally caused by low battery voltage. Disconnect battery for 10 mins (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RADIO CODE) reconnect battery - then follow instructions on dashboard to reset park/brake. Use this method for all p/brake faults as 95% of the time it resets them.
If fault still consists remove boot interior carpet trim from the right side of the boot. Locate the module and disconnect it and reconnect all the connectors. If it still won't release, then you have to take tow it for service. Worst case senario is the handbake cables are cut and the motor will be replaced...

Park brake seized on
Often caused by low battery voltage - quick check = disconnect battery (make sure you have the radio code) leave for 10 mins then reconnect. follow the instructions on the dash board info panel and if this resets your brake then the battery is probably suspect. If it does not you may have a problem with the park brake module or the motor.
hope this helps - good luck!

Passenger side climate control cannot be
This is probably due to a DCCV (dual coolant control valve) failure. This is the 3 x pipe solenoid valve that controls hot water to your heater via two separate sides. You can see the valve - look into the engine and on your left down low just behind the radiator is the valve. (This has 3 x pipes and two metal cans on it) As it has failed on 1 x side only it is probably faulty - there have been issues with cable corrosion and control units but a faulty valve is likely to be the cause in this case.
Hope this helps - good luck.

PARKING BRAKE FAULT IN S TYPE 2005 JAGUAR. WHAT
If the brake will not release or not apply, try the following (making sure you have a fully charged battery)
Disconnect battery for 10 mins ( make sure you have your radio code available- this will need to be entered after battery reconnected to use you radio) when battery reconnected follow instructions on your dash board message centre. If this fixes your problem the the fault was caused by low battery voltage. If the fault remains you have a problem with the brake module or motor. If the brake shows no fault messages but you still have a problem it could be a mechanical problem with the brake assembly which will need inspection.
Hope this was of help - good luck.

X type heated front screen - only passenger side
As this is a 2008 car you should be covered by warranty. It needs further investigation into the wiring and control relays. The chances of two faulty screens so near together is highly unlikely so the fault probably does not lay with the screen, maybe the installation was not up to scratch and a connection or cable issue is involved. Take it back to Dealer or windscreen supplier - it should be their problem - not yours. Good luck.

Heater running at max temp
You need to check the twin solenoid heat control valve found on the RHD side down by the base of the radiator. When these fail they mostly fail in the ''open'' state so hot water is constantly supplied to the heater.
Possible causes
1 solenoid valve failed
2 cables and connectors to valve faulty (often suffer from corrosion and damage- inspect carefully)
3 voltage signals to valve from control module missing, the modules can suffer from a blown output transistor or damaged PCB tracks caused by high current shorting - (easily repairable)
If its any comfort - I currently have a solenoid failure on one side of my valve so the passenger is roasting whilst I'm okay, good job its winter here ! I have checked all the above and know its a faulty valve so I will have to change it - but its a ***** of a job as there is no room to move !!
hope this has helped - good luck !

Park brake won't release
Often caused by low battery voltage - quick check = disconnect battery (make sure you have your radio code) leave for 10 mins then refit. follow instructions on dash board information screen. If the brake resets okay - its a battery low voltage fault - if not .......... you have a handbrake module or motor fault.
Hope this helps - good luck.

2005 jag s-type parking break will not come off ,
I actually had this problem on my car. Water got into the parking break cable and froze it up. You may have to remove the tire and lightly tap on the cable lever by the break. If that doesn't work, disconnect it and take it to the shop to have it fixed.
