My 2005 jaguar s type stuck in reverse. Please help me
My 2005
S-Type was stuck in reverse but the gear stick was stuck in park. After taking
the console apart trying to figure out why the shift lock wouldn't open...three
hours later I got under the car and discover that one of the two bolts that held
the transmission cable in place was missing...I replaced it and that was all it
took.

Why in cold weather start up smoke appears from
This is normal. Look under the front nearside and you'll see a 3 inch diameter hole out of which the smoke is coming - This is designed to vent the fumes from a diesel 'pre-warmer' which obviously, on cold days, springs into action. It looks awful, but, so I'm told by Jaguar, is the way it's meant to be. I'm only passing on the info I got when I enquired about exactly the same thing so this isn't necessarily the complete answer and you may have other more serious issues, but it put my mind at rest when I was told this.

Stype motion sensors not working
This sounds like a control module issue, you will have to have the dealer or a shop with the proper scan tool to test the system and see what exactly is causing the problem

2005 s type jaguar motion sensors not working
As far as your a/c issue, this sounds like a common problem of low refrigerant charge in the a/c system, most of the cars with dual climate control will blow cool air from passenger side and warmer air on drivers side when the refrigerant level gets too low. I would suggest taking it to a repair shop and have the system checked for a leak before you try and have it recharged... and as far as the motion sensor issue, this may be a module that is faulty or a sensor that has failed, either way it will have to be looked at by the dealer or a shop that has a proper scanner to check the sensor and module status... hope this helps
