S type jaguar parking brake warning that brake
Do you mean 'parking brake fault' This message can sometimes appear with low battery causing the electronic park brake to lose its calibration.
To recalibrate it disconnect your battery and leave for 10 Min's. then reconnect and with the ignition on apply the foot brake and whilst keeping applied switch the parking brake on. then release the foot brake turn ignition off - on and the handbrake fault message should be gone and the parking brake should release as you drive off.
IMPORTANT - make sure you have you radio code as you will need this after a battery disconnect.
hope this helps - good luck

Flashing Check Engine Light
Hi, flashing check engine light in car means a lot of things which can be related to any part of the car. So for you to detect what the exact problem is, you have to take the car to Auto zone for the car to be scanned after which a code will be retrieved and interpreted to detect what the problem is.
When my 2002 Jaguar x type had the engine light flasing. I took it to Autozone and had the error codes read it said cylinder 5 misfire and something that had to do with the airflow.
With that the problem was easy to fix...
Take care

Cannot shift from park
If you are really stuck you can remove the shifter cover and you will see the solenoid, at the base of the solenoid is a manual override - press this and you can move the shifter - then do not return it to park until you have fixed the problem ( leave in neutral)
Hope this helps - good luck.

Vibration from inside of car
mcdevito75 here, If the vibration smooths out when you step on the gas pedal even slightly or increases, then it is mechanically related., Causes could be, Vacumn leakes, the small narrow rubber / plastic hoses that control the emission sensors / devices, Wrong Octane fuel (gas), dirty gas filter or dirty gas itself, a worn engine mount. I would start off with the gas (fuel), at your local auto parts store, Sears, Strauss etc. I would pick up and put in the gas tank a can of dry gas or an associated product to get rid of any water in the gas (fuel) Or at least a can of fuel injector cleaner. The fuel injectors in your engine could be dirty also.
