How to replace p0420 and p0430 sensors
p0420 and p0430 are codes for bank a and bank b catalyst efficiency below threshold. there are 2 sensors on each bank. you dont say if its a v6 or a v8, if its a v6 they are easy to get at from the underside. one has a green connector the other blue, both sides the same, and screw into the exhaust one before cat one after, if its a v8 there not so easy. the connectors are at the back of the cylinder heads one grey one black. my advise would to get it on to some diagnostic equipment to monitor live data to identify the culprit, you dont get both sides going down together. from my experience with these cars if one bank of cylinders has a emission related problem the ecu uses the other bank to compensate which can confuse diagnostics. also one of or both catalysts may be faulty

What is code po153b for stype jaguar 2002
the code po153 is oxy/lambda sensor slow response. and the b i think relates to bank b that is left hand as you sit in car, there are 2 sensors on each bank. you should really have it put on suitable diagnostic equipment to monitor live data to help sort it out, it could be either sensor or the catalyst. and the parts are expensive so you should not get the diagnosis wrong. i guess you engine light is on. good luck.

How to chang a reverse sencor on a s type jaguar
If the faulty sensor is one of the inner sensors the bumper has to come of. If it is a outer sensor only half the bolts on that side have to be removed. Start by partly removeing the under wing shield and there is access to the bolts, open the boot remove plastic shut trim and more bolts. Pull back side carpets remove the black side plates to get to more bolts remove bumper and replace the faulty sensor leave the bumper connected and pointing away and test before refitting.

How do I set up phone in 2002 s-type model.
Unfortunately unless you have a old "Bag Phone" or one that can be hard wired into the car - then you're out of luck.
The system doesn't have a bluetooth availability unless you have the system modified by a professional audio installer or replace the old system completely.

What is wrong? Jag s type shutsdown immediately after starting, cranks but wot restart,
I recently had the same issue and it sounds like it could be fuel related. Have you recently changed the fuel pump or changed the fuel filter? If not there are several other fuel related fuses some in the passenger side fuse box, some in the trunk (which you have found.. but I believe there may be two) and some relays as well. Check all them. If all fuses are okay check to see if your fuel pump is getting power... this can be done by turning your key to the on position and listening under the passenger back seat (this is where your fuel pump is located). You should be able to hear it once you turn your key over to give it power..(now this humming noise will only last for a few seconds so have someone right there while turning the key) if not it is probably the fuel pump....
