For 2002 Jaguar S-Type 4.0L SFI DOHC 8cyl the Fuel Filter is located under vehicle, driver side, below engine area, rear of wheelwell, mounted in fuel line.

If you are really stuck you can remove the shifter cover and you will see the solenoid, at the base of the solenoid is a manual override - press this and you can move the shifter - then do not return it to park until you have fixed the problem ( leave in neutral) Hope this helps - good luck.

P0200....Injector Circuit

The driver side latch doesn’t release so the hood will not get opened.
What you will need to do is get the front end of the car up in the air and be able to crawl under the vehicle. From there you can attempt to reach up and pull on the cable for the hood release. This should pop the hood. From there, take some WD-40 and spray the latch assembly on each side really good. Then if you can, use some oil like 3-in-1 oil and apply some to the cable itself (may require lifting the hood release assemblies from the cross member). This will ensure the cable does not hang up on your in the future.
NOTE:-- when you pull the hood release, is it really easy to pull? If so, you may have to buy a new cable as the one that you currently have either has a broken cable or the lead ball on the end has been pulled off. Either way, a new cable is required.
If in-case  the above mentioned procedure is bit difficult.
The release cable splits at the driver side latch. Since the cable seems to be working then the latch is just stuck. Unfortunately there really is no way to get to the bottom of the latches. You can remove the bottom under-tray and with a really long screwdriver try to pop the latch. Again this will be hard to see even on a lift but if it will not open by releasing the handle and pulling up or pushing down on the hood then that's your only other option.
To remove the under tray (grill?)
There are about twelve T30 torx screws securing that under tray to the front bumper and wheel arch liners. Once removed look straight up to see if you can get to the bottom of the hood latch.

your light will come on and your car will run bad...

the converter is located on exhaust system under rhe car about just under pass side door but more towards the middle of car. you should see a round pipe that has a heat shield under and around it. it's about 2 to 3 feet long and has welds or clamps on each end.hope this helps!!

Try pushing back down on the hood and try reopening it again,if this doesn't help push downn on the hood again and have someone pull up on the side while you try releasing the hood. Once you get it open try sprayind the latch with wd40. Make sure the latch is clean sometimes moisture causes the latch to hang up.

Programming
When
Key(s) added or replaced. System malfunction.
How
Obtain all keys fitted with remote control. Turn ignition switch from position 0 to position II 4 times within 6 seconds. Turn ignition switch to position 0. The system will emit an acoustic signal to indicate start of programming mode. Programming mode activated for 10 seconds proceed as follows: Press and hold lock, unlock or boot release button Fig. 1 [1], [2] or [3]. Wait for acoustic signal (indicates correct programming). Repeat above procedure within 10 seconds to program remaining keys. To exit programming mode: Turn ignition switch to position III or wait 10 seconds. Keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed

check your brake lights/fuses switch at pedal etc the handbook should have a bypass detailed for you

Go to autozone or advance auto parts they will scan to see why your engine light is on.Usually free of charge. Write down the codes they give you then let us know what they are. We test we dont guess.

was the bulb made in china?? or did you pay for an original part?

Common problem - normally caused by low battery voltage. Disconnect battery for 10 mins (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RADIO CODE) reconnect battery - then follow instructions on dashboard to reset park/brake. Use this method for all p/brake faults as 95% of the time it resets them. Hope this helps - good luck.

Go to your local garage (anyone) and have them read the OBDII code this will tell you what has caused the problem, cost for this should be minimal £7-10 ask them for all the reported codes you can check them out at http://www.bluejag.co.uk if you wish to find out what they mean.

Try and bump the top of the engine or just have some one hold the release latch and lift up on the engine until it pops open.

Check the battery as this can set the beeping noise off if the power is low.

Common problem.

In future, when on put it in park only AFTER the handbrake is applied. Ideally, foot brake, shift to N, apply handbrake, release foot brake, shift to park.

If the incline isn't steep have someone push car uphill while you gently move gearshift shift out of park. If its a steep hill, call a tow truck and move to a level surface. The parking pawl in the transmission becomes groved over time (and sticks) unless you use the handbreak as described.
