if its not opening its not the fuse if the other doors open. it will be the solenoid in the lock needs replacing if the manual release is not working you will have to try and remove the boot cover from the inside as best as you can. and push the pin over so you can unlock the boot. think its just to the left of the lock so from the inside looking out its on the right side.

If a spark has no path to discharge, it will often find a weak one or create one. If your wires or plugs are so bad that they cannot pass a spark, the coil will discharge elsewhere. It is a great coil. I have seen brand new plugs completely disable an engine. Completely. I have seen wires completely fail on their maiden voyage. The plugs were Champion BRF52 on a Ford, the wires were Belden for a V6 Mercury. I do not recommend Champion plugs, at all. I do however like Belden quality. You would not suspect them, but... Suspect them. Pull one out lay it on a steel part of the engine, and see if it sparks. If not, replace them. For wire, try to start the engine at night, watch in the dark for arcing wires. Replace them.

There is a FLOAT in the gas tank that bobs up & down in the gas in which the gauge gets a signal from to let u know your fuel level. they can go bad & send erratic readings to the gauge. (like a toilet bowl float) That is the most common cause of your problem. Good Luck

Get another battery and make an adaptor cable with clamps for the battery plots at one end and a lighter jack (like the ones for phone car chargers) at the other. Now connect the cable accordingly (the minus plot on the battery to the side contact on the jack) and plug it in the lighter socket - now you will have enough power to open the trunk. Don't try to start the motor this way, it will fry the entire wiring harness.

you may just have a battery with dead or dying cells...make sure your have your battery load tested making sure you have enough amps to crank the car...just because it powers up the cluster doesnt mean it has enough juice to crank the engine..

I would have to plug a diagnostic computer into the car and interrogate the ABS controller for diagnostic trouble codes to find out what part of the system is causing the problem being detected and triggering your light to illuminate.
