My 2004 hyundai elantra just started dying out of

My friend had this problem with her Hyundai 2003 Sante Fe...just dying out. And I did some research for her. There was one particular forum, where I Googled the make and model, year of the vehicle that came up where a few people had this problem. And the problem isn't picked up by the dearler's computer test. The part was the EGR solenoid control valve. Maybe that's a place to start?

HOW DO I REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR BELT ON 2004 ELANTRA

As long as you have BOTH alternator bolts loose, you just "pry" it until the belt is tight.I say "pry" but of course you dont want to be TOO rough with your alternator! They dont have an actual tensioner!Good luck

Why does the power steering pump drive belt squeel under load when its cold on 2004 hyundai elantra.

this sounds like the belt is worn and needs replacing.when its damp and cold if the belt is worn it will slip easier under this condition than in warmer weather.also the belt tension may not be proper.if this has a belt adjuster that you can adjust then the tension may need to be tightened.if it has an automatic belt tensioner(one that adjust tension all the time)like a serpintine belt then the tensioner may need to be replaced as the spring that crates the tension do get weak over time.

Had my thermostat radiator replaced 4 weeks ago, driving down the road ac running car started to overheat shut ac off it stopped anyone have this problem

Yes these do happen with the a/c on the condensor gathers heat, thats why the cooling fan is suppose to run when you have the a.c on.You solution is to inspect that the radiator fan goes to high speed, when the a/c iscommaned on.if it does not come on further inspection will be required of the operation of the radiator fan.

Elantra 2004(Diesel, done 136,000km) Leak in Turbo Charger

A turbocharger can leak. Some of the gaskets might be shot and need to be replaced or a hose might need to be replaced. If the turbocharger itself is leaking and not a gasket then the turbo housing is probably cracked. If you get the turbocharger replaced it should last a good 20 years or so. The only thing that usually wears out on turbochargers are gaskets and thrust bearings.

1. Some cars, this is normal. Like the passenger side airbag is only active is someone is sitting there.2. Only the dealer should look at this. It is a huge liability for anyone else to mess with and for the dealer. He may fix it for free.

What could be causing my 2004 Hyundai Elantra to

Could be numbers of things, get your self a bottle of fuel injector cleaner, pour all of it in the gas tank, and fill up with high octane 92 or 93, run it for while and see if change anything. Prob: Bad O2 sensors. MAP sensor, dirty plugs, bad/clogs injectors. If you have a high miles 100k change wires, plugs, good tune up would be good.
