Solution for code p0172 on kia 2001 magentis

code p0172 refers to system too rich bank 1 probable cause intake b;ocked----EVAP canister purge valve---fuel pressure. EGR system injectors--- and the oxygen sensor HO2S Check for dirty air cleaner first.and then I would replace the oxygen sensor with a genuine unit only as the settings for after market units are not always compatable with the cpu settings.

Horn in 2004 hyundai elantra keeps going off after car shut off for a few minutes.

I had this same problem with a car I was driving out in 'Frisco. What a pain! The problem was a short in the horn button on the steering wheel. The dealer demanded replacing the horn button, which was PART OF THE AIR BAG ASSEMBLY, AND THAT COST 1.,000 DOLLARS!After intense arguing, warranty covered it.If I was faced with this, I get me a blow dryer for your hair and position it to blow inside the back of the steering wheel on LOW heat, so as not to melt the plastic, for about 6 hours.Anything you can do to dry out the inside of the steering wheel should help. Be blessed.

I want to put a turbocharger on my 2004 hyundai elantra. I was going to take a turbo out of a jeta turbo diesel and put it in. Does anyone know if I should go below the o2 sensor and the catalic con

turbos work closest to the exhaust ports before there is any loss of heat to make them work well. Suggest you do some research to get the proper manifold for the turbo you want to install as it will save a lot of problems

My 2004 Hyundai Elantra GLS radio, clock and interior lights will not come on

I have the same issue . My radio lights are on but my radio doesn't come on nor does my clock and my interior lights. This issue happened after someone jumped my car battery and put the jumper cables on wrong. I've changed the battery and checked all fuses fortunately all the fuses are good... I called the dealership mech and he told me to check the fuses again. Other wise it could be a wiring issue ...either way I am unsure. I need help asap

Elantra 2004(Diesel, done 136,000km) Leak in Turbo Charger

A turbocharger can leak. Some of the gaskets might be shot and need to be replaced or a hose might need to be replaced. If the turbocharger itself is leaking and not a gasket then the turbo housing is probably cracked. If you get the turbocharger replaced it should last a good 20 years or so. The only thing that usually wears out on turbochargers are gaskets and thrust bearings.

Constantly replacing headlights

Do not tear thru anything please just go to the dealership and replace the headlights! The Hyundai's headlights burn so hot that any aftermarket headlights will burn out quite quickly! I have purchased many different headlight bulbs for my Hyundai including the ultrabright lights and those just burned. Went to the dealer and purchased two headlights from them for $21.00 and they installed them!!!! Have not had a problem since!
