Range rover problem air bag suspension

I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. I posted the link below so you can take a look

http://www.strutmasters.com/land-rover-suspension-parts-s/21.htm

I hope I was of some help

Good Luck!!!

Brake problem

sounds like the brake switch is faulty if you lower the plastic trim panel under the dash and then look up under you will see the switch on the brake pedal lever there will be two switches there one for the cruise control ( easy to spot this has rubber hoses on it) and one with wires going to it replace this one and it should cure both probs

V6 holden engine on lpg just stops while driving !

If the filter has already been changed, then the pressure regulator, which also acts as the vaporiser, must be suspect. It is equipped with a soleniod valve that shuts of the flow when the engine is not running,or if it thinks its not running.

Range Rover Gearbox

didnt you get a warrenty thrown in on a £37000 car,did this occur within 90 days of your purchase,if so go to trading standards you have a 90 day warrenty by law, sounds like they took there time finding the problem so they could not be liable for the repair bill, also visit the landyzone website i use it and its a great source of help and advise, get the landrover customer care no of another rr dealer and chat to lr people themselves and go to the vosa website and check on the recalls for range rovers.

good luck

1999 landrover range rover 2.5 diesel put petrol

I would start by looking for the valve on the fuel rail (or at the filter housing), if you disconnected the fuel pipe from the filter feed you will have a lot of air in the system (and diesels do not like air in the feul system) you will need to have someone crank the motor over while you push in on the schrader valve to release the air out of the system until you get fuel to flow steady out of that port (this may take a short period of time), then you should be able to start the vehicle... would also recommend replacing the fuel filter as well. Hope this helps.

2000 range rover pasenger window does not set all the way

Ok any more there is not any adjustment for this problem what you have to do is roll the window down all the way and put your knee on the door (inside) right where the top of the window is and pull the top of the door tword you this will bend the door frame inward and also make your seal tighter.. Now dont over do it and bend the **** out of it just trial and error is what you have to do .. bend it just a little and see if you can put a dollar bill in the top of the door between the rubber and the door and pull it out .. to see if the seal is tighter .. try it before you start bending it too this way you can tell if you are helping .. thanks again Jerry ..

2000 range rover heater has been bypassed

Hi this is a quite common fault on landrovers. The correct solution is to perlace the heater matrix in the car, this involves removal of the dashboard. HOWEVER, in many cases it is possible to use a product such as Radweld or radseal. Its well worth a try for a couple of $. Reconect the heater pipes in put a pot of radseal in the expansion tanks, go for a drive and see if it leaks.

2000 4.6 range rover suv

You require an unlock code/ security code from the dealer. This will consist of 4 numbers. You can then input this code into the door lock to clear imobiliser. You will have to do this every time until you have your remote replaced or repaired. There is a procedure for inputting the code. What the display through the window with the door closed. You need to turn key to unlock or lock (depends on model) until you see the display react to your input. Once this happens you are ready to input the code. If for example the code was 3241 and you have turned it 4 times to the unlock position (most likely) you would start by turning it 3 times to the unlock, 2 times to the lock, 4 times to the
unlock, 1 time to the lock, pause then unlock the car and start the engine. It sounds tricky but once you get the hang of it its not too bad. If when you start to input the code it starts locking and unlocking the central locking is is not accepting the code. The difficult bit is getting it to recognise you are inputting the code. The central locking will do nothing during the code entry. Best doing this when the light is fading as its easier to see the display in the dashboard. Thats it, all you've got to do now is find the code. Often on a card inside the owners service books if still around!!
Good Luck John

Land Rover Range Rover P38. Changed my fuel filter on P38 Range Rover and the battery went flat and will not start. Reset BECM Range Rover P38.

no year car told and worst no engine told and is an engine question. 1994 to 2001 made. 3 engines 1 is diesel,2.5 BMW any car that will not start ! the driver cranks the battery dead. so sure it can NOT start THE ENGINE now. the shop manual says in this case keep the battery charged to diagnose all fail failures, EFI,engines or all electrics resetting the BCM does not fix this. yes pulling battery neg lug for 15min and back on resets computers. there are 6 to 10 causes of a dead starter motor, and battery dead or loose rusty lugs tops the list, ever jumper cable , jump start a battery? call the AAA AUTO CLUB AND SAY JUMP ME rovor? NOW IF THE BATTERY WAS CHARGED AND WE CRANK IN PARK WE FAIL WE CRANK ALL CARS IN NEUTRAL , SEE IT DOES CRANK? HEAR THIS , THIS CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START https://freesound.org/people/drdeath666/sounds/687447/ WE CAN NOT HEAR YOU CRANK YOUR CAR, DEAF AND BLIND IN THIS TEXT BOX.(ME) IF IT DOES CRANK FAST, THAT IS A NO START ONLY ! WE SAY CRANKS FAST BUT WILL NOT START. (BATTERY GOOD) AND HAS UP TO 50 CAUSES AND 20 TESTS AND TOOLS TO FIND IT. (CHECK ALL FUSES. AND SCAN THE OBD2 SCAN PORT IS FIRST. THE CAR NEEDS SERVICE FOR SURE. the only tool less tests are fuses and cranking in neutral. just 1 eye and 1 hand does it. ok one more engine oil all leaked out. engine seized.grin! dip stick dry, via Mark one eyeball check/.

U can't find the starter relay 2006 range Rover supercharge does anyone have a pic

open glove box pull guide (users) see fuse page for relay names. try cranking in N PRNDL ,no just P ? that is first but if starter is silent the relay is not. so if relay too is silent it is bad park/neutral switch is dead. scan the PCM with a scan tool,OBD2. see why it fails easy. park lock out must work first. battery charged. key on, step on brake pedal shift from pARK tro neutral and crank the engine. if Park switch was bad, Neutral is not.(joy)
