My Porsche Key fob no longer unlocks the doors

Insert key into door barrel or ignition lock and turn key, whilst doing this press the unlock/lock button, the led on the dash should flash to indicate this has initialised the key to the car, then remove key and test operation of remote. If this fails then a new remote plus coding to the car by your dealership is needed

I have a 2005 porsche

Hello. take the battery to most any autoparts store and have them test it for you. They all have the testing equipment these days. While you are there with the battery have them show you what they have in maintenance free that will fit your car. There are always several batteries from various manufacturers that will fit a particular car and be of the same Amperage. J.

Using the stalk to enter menu settings on the instrument cluster, scroll down until you come to settings, select by pushing stalk away then scroll down menu until you reach 'lights' select this option then select activate by putting mark in box also by pusing stalk away from you.

I need to change the oil in my 2005 997

allen key sump plug in middle of flat sump pan to drain the oil, and a filter removal tool to remove the plastic oil filter housing positioned just forward of the sump. Refill with 8 litres of oil via the filler tube, run till hot then leave for 2 mins before checking level via the instrument cluster

How to remove the rear automatic boot spoiler of a

What you need to do is raise the spoiler via the switch to the full extent and place pieces of wood between the spoiler and body, then using a 'C' spanner to fit round the top of the rams and locate into the small hole (i found the multi purpose spanner that comes with pushbikes has just the right fitting) turn each ram 1/4 turn, but be careful because when it releases from the spoiler the ram will retract into its housing with great force taking the spanner with it and damaging the body. good luck!

Chirping sound in rear inside area behind drivers seat

Check or have service tech check rear diagonal arms, not the control arms. The tech will need to hit the bolt heads with a hammer, and you should hear the difference from left to right side. Just purchased a 2005 boxster

Engine at operating temperature. Then turn engine off and wait a few minutes. View level from cluster options, digital reading. Each "box" is about 200ml of oil when hot.
