The drain plug threads
Remove the pan
Silver Braze a nut inside, the same size as the

I have had half of all my vehicles strip out in the
last 20 years,all different brands
I have 2004 L/S
If you have 4x4 truck, your pulling the entire front diff
to get the pan off (been there also)
Behind the glove box (PCM) not ecm
Leave it along
Not something you can do anything with
The car has 3 of them
One by your left leg, on the side, in front of the drivers
door (FEM) & one in the trunk on the right side, next to the
gas filler tube (REM)
Why not come here with a vehicle problem?
If you pull those modules-- you won't use the car again
They have to be flashed by a dealer, to as built spec, as
it rolled off the assy line & then the updates down loaded
I have a 2004 Lincoln L/S--- lets see if we can point you in
some direction
That is one of the most complex vehicles ever made &
a dealer will be glad to take thousands from you & fix nothing
My 1st guess or 1st instinct would be to say it's a computer software issue, becasue I can't think of anything mechanical that could cause this type of issue. I suggest instead of asking here, you contact your car dealer or manufacturer.
.
this is covered in the FSM book or alldata.com

we need engine size. and country. first.
those parts are SMOG parts and vary by , country./
Its most likely from the valve cover seals, head
gasket at most. The valve cover is the bit that usually has all the
markings on it.Additionally, I suggest view this video...Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your
feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if
you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day and Merry X-mas.
Check the cables for correct tension. If the cables are too loose on the battery, the condition you describe can occur. Also, the battery cables can be fine, and the battery appear to have enough voltage, but can actually have a shorted cell which breaks down under starter load.
Check for corrosion on battery terminals (a white, crusty substance which feel slightly crunchy and greasy between the fingers); this corrosion can be harder to see on side-post battery terminals. Corrosion almost always happens as a result of too loose cables and alternator overcharging. Overcharging is as bad for a battery as undercharging.
Good luck.
if it does not turn over and the headlights are dim could have 1or more bad cells in battery try to get a charger on it and see if that help a battery tester is a must to have ......for everyone..wall mart will check it for free also
