Sometimes my 06 range rover won't start.. I was thinking it was the battery .. however it wasn't when I take the positive cable off and place back on and hand tighten it . Starts rite away and will go

Look at the positive cable. Is it corroded. Corrosion will also go into the cable under the rubber coating several inches. Clean it or replace it if it is real bad. Also clean the negative side and check the grounds from the battery. Three main ground wires are, battery engine, battery to body, and engine to body.

Can I reset my check engine light using an obd 11 connector after completing the specific repair indicated?

If you used this scanner to diagnose the problem in your car then you can use the scanner to reset he check engine light. An alternative is to remove you negative battery cable for 15-20 minutes, or if repair has been successful drive car for 50-150 miles ( not all in one day ), and let the cars computer relearn the correct functioning of new part. LUCK FRIEND.

Range rover problems

Sounds like a fuel problem. With the switch in the "on" position, can you hear the pump running? Crack the union where the fuel line comes up to the injectors, crank the engine to see if fuel comes out. If not, check for power at the fuel pump (in the top of the fuel tank). You should have over 12V between the white wire and earth. Ignore the voltage of the green wire - that is the sender.
