Flashing o/d light flashing and causes gas and electrical power to drop

Flashing o/d light is a "check engine" light for your transmission. Codes can be in the main computer so get it obf2 scanned, but better to head to good transmission shop. Noise likely in the trans.

How do you adjust timing on a 2000 kia sephia

These have to be exactly right. Cannot be off even one tooth. After getting the belt on, always rotate the engine manually by the crankshaft bolt two revolutions to make sure everything lines up under tension. 0996b43f8022f4ad-j1axptdruxmkgupulmd503d3-1-0.gif 0996b43f8022f4ac-j1axptdruxmkgupulmd503d3-1-2.gif

Got battery jumped, car alarm wouldnt go off, removed fuse from horn, now there is a clicking noise in the dashboard even when the car is off, what is causing this

You didn't say whether it was a factory alarm. The clicking you hear is the parking light relay. The alarm is still in trigger mode.If its aftermarket, you should be able to go under the driver side dash ..and kill the power to the alarm. They usually have a red wire with a 10 amp fuse in the wire..You can turn off the alarm in most cars by unlocking and locking the driver door with the key..Also, make sure the dome lamp rocker switch is in the middle.move it back and forth and stop in the middle.sometimes the switch will get hung in between settings. This goes for the backseat light too( if you have one back there)

The spark plugs are rusty what could this be

If it's actual rust then you have water in the cylinder which means blown headgasket, cracked head or other engine damage.

Charging system failed. Why is new alternator output ranging between 11 1/2 and 12 1/2 volts?

11 1/2 to 12 1/2 is not charging . That's less then battery state of charge , Battery stat of charge should be 12.6 volts , when charging with a volt meter you should see 13.1 to 14.1 volt at the battery posts . Is there a battery symbol lit on your instrument cluster ? Is there battery B+ voltage at the wires hooked to the alternator How to Test an Alternator

Can i unhooked my battery and reset my alarm on my 2001 kia spectra

Battery will do the same thing. Insert the fuse, then put the key in the ignition and turn it on (don't start) and see if that doesn't take care of it.

2001 Spectra leaking oil. Check engine light came on took to Advance said it was a transmission hose, took to where we purchased they said it was a readiness code. Now my check engine light is back on

Take it to a Grease Monkey or other oil change business and they will often just look to see what is leaking for free,, ( IF they help you out then remember them and take your oil changes to them )
