Heat core fluts not working
This is a simple fix you need to go under the daschboard and find the funcuaitor door flaps and check the hoses that run into the back of the climate control module and make sure they are properly in place it's not the heater core unless the car pours antifreeze on the floorboard on the passenger side of the car
Serpentine belt
You should replace it, they get stretched, bruised or creased and after you run it one time, it is not new anymore.
GEARBOX FAULT
THE CAR DRIVES FINE BUT THEN SOME TIMES WHILST CHANGING FROM 1ST GEAR TO 2ND IT SLIPS SLIGHTLY BUT STILL CHANGES, ON THE LONG RUN THE CAR IS FINE AND ENGAGES ALL GEARS
Keys cut code
British Motor Car in San Francisco, Marin Luxury Cars in Corte Madera, and Cole in Walnut Creek should be able to do it.
Starter motor or fly wheel problem
The starter is not engaging with the flywheel, sounds like teeth missing on starter ring gear, when you move the car in gear, you are turning the engine, so repositioning the ring gear and then it starts. The starter needs to come off and inspect the gear on the pinion and you should be able to see the ring gear through the starter mounting hole, (you will have to turn engine to see all of it). If it is a worn ring gear, it's gearbox out and a new flywheel. Good Luck.
P0763
Transmission shift solenoid failure.
PECUS ERROR E appear with yellow & red blinking lights (78550 miles)
thats a problem with one of the modules on the can or scp network it is saying there is a programming error, or the module does not belong to this car. have you changed a module of any sort/? they are all connected and will only function on the car they belong to unless they are reprogrammed with jag diagnostic equipment ie. ids software. its all part off the antitheft system
My 2003 S-Type is misfiring when it reaches 3000 rpms. it read codes p1111, p0333,p0332,p1316,p0305,p0303,p0301,p0300.
Think you have a problem with the computer but what i have no idea to be honest ,its going into limp mode as these vehicles have a limit to the RPM you can achive on static standing .These vehicles can only be revved to 3000 rpm when stationary as this i do know from when i take this type to the test station and the sound test states 3500rpm but only 3000 can be obtained ?good job iam well known at the test station .So i would suggest that consult the dealer with the view of doing a mapping of the computer to see what the problem could be.So firstly what i would try is to disconnect the battery in the boot and join the leads together and leave overnight to discharge the memory in the computer and see if this cures the fault .
