Where do you put gas for air conditioner for s-type jaguar
Hi Barry, If you look carefully at the two AC pipes you will see two plastic valve covers (similar to valve caps on tyres, but larger). One is high pressure and the other low. When regassing the engine should be running ith the AC turned on. Regards John
Turn ignition off windows open
This is a problem with the 'global opening' function built into the security / locking system of the car. It may be a fault with your fob. Tried your spare?
When you lock the car use the key, not button. if the windows are down use the key to lock and hold in the lock position until the windows go up. If you have all your codes. disconnect the battery for 1 x hr and then the module may reset if this is where the fault lies. If not itsoff to the jaguar dealers to be robbed !
My jaguar is dead I can't open my trunk to charge
I am not familiar with the Jag, however. If there is no manual trunk release or no key operated release mechanism, all may not be lost. Auto parts stores and some department stores sell a temporary power supply that operates on a small battery and plugs into your cigarett lighter. These are used to retain computer and radio settings when it is neccessary to disconnect the vehicles primary battery. This might offer enough voltage to open the trunk and allow access to the primary battery. Good Luck Vern
Where cranshaft sensor location
Crankshaft Position Sensor is on the engine. Typically near the front or belt/pulley area. 9 out of 10 times near the bottom of the engine very near the largest pulley on the motor. Some vehicles( less than a third) have more than one. The 2nd would usually be located near the coil/coil pack(s) of ignition system.
