To reset the windows you need to get in the car make sure both doors are completely shut. Roll the driver window all the way down, keep your finger on the down switch for about 8 seconds then roll it up and keep your finger on the up switch for about 8 seconds do the same for the passenger. If you ever replace your battery this will have to be done. ( ps don't take your finger off the buttons when your rolling them up and down)

Go to the Auto Zone and get a diagnostic. May be the throttle Position Sensor is faulty. You need a new Throttle Body.

Switch the control module with the other seat. I had the same issue and found it was just a bad relay in the module.

when u try to close the window with the switch watch and see if the interior lights dim ever so slightly, if they do u need to replace the window lift motor for sure.

this is an electronically controlled transmission, have u had the transmission control computer tested for codes? if not saying the tranmission is defective is a wild guess, since they (the dealer) were the last to work on this they may have disturbed wiring or a sensor, not really sure of course what they got into in the course of this repair, any dealer worth there salt will do a "courtesy" inspection free of charge.

the control module is losing it's keep alive memory power, this is either due to a fualty control module or a loose 12 volt power lead to the module, the dealer needs to check the module which i suspect is the problem.

If the driver's side window is supposed to drop auto-
matically,when you open the door.I'd suspect the
tiny switch on the lower section of the door,which
should also operate your interior lights,is either loose,
or not working properly. Open the door,and find the
little push button switch,and operate it manually with
your finger. If the window operates properly,the switch
isn't making full contact with the door jamb.If it does
not work at all,it might just be bad,and need replacing. Good luck.

Definately not normal, you must have a battery drain somewhere

if you have a local autozone store they will check the engine light for no charge..

It just needs resetting.Hold each window switch down until you hear a click at the top and then go down all the way and hold until it clicks at the bottom of its travel.A low battery will cause this sometimes or a  battery change.Tony/Hills Motors, San Mateo, CA

I am no mechanic but on most cars it may indicate poor connections on batery or solonoid or starter.

I ended up taking the car to a dealer for repair.

replace the battery, if that doesnt work, go back to the dealer and have it re-proggrammed

It could be caused by two things, engine or transmission issues. If you have also problem with idling, I suggest to look at the engine first. Check if there is inconsistent fuel mixture. You may have a problem with your MAP sensor (the device that measures the air at the intake), issue withe the TPS or a problem with the fuel injection. You may also check your spark plugs if it is soaked with fuel to see if the fuel mixture is incorrect. Check also the vacuum hoses if they are loose or has leak.

The transmission can be trickier since most of the parts are inside. Check first the transmission fluid for dirt or debris and have the filter and fluid replaced should there be any. Inspect also if the fluid level is correct. There may also be some debris or dirt on the valves for each gear inside the transmission. Most especially if this happens only on D and not in reverse. Have the solenoid inspected if it needs cleaning or replacing.
