Sugar in Fuel

The only thing i can tell you is to get all the gas you can out of the tank, even if it means droping the tank. Then blow out the fuel line, install new filter, fill up with new gas with a fuel additive that cleans injectors and run it. I believe the worst that can happen is clog up the injectors, witch may not happen if you just run it. Depending on how much sugar was put in it.

Rear passenger side door will not open

Have you tried to open it from the back seat? If you have then you will have to take off the cover on the door and there should be a release button. Most covers are easily removed with a flat head screw driver - If your door requires a motor to operate than that is your problem. Hope this helps.

I have a couple of different problems with 99 jag XJ8

disconnect the new battery for about 10 minutes, then reconnect, then try the valet mode switch again, see if the other lights come on again, and the shaking could be a tire depending on how long it sat in one position, but most likely is warped brake rotors

2001 S-Type. Intermitant electrical problem.

Two quick fixes come to mind, 1, remove and cleane your battery post and terminals with a good wire brush, re connect and make sure they are very tight, (cant be turned by hand), brush can be bought at a auto supply store, cheap! #2 while you are at the supply store have them do a load test on your battery, most supply stores have this service, call ahead. im quit sure its one of the two! batterys in my option are not reliable after 3 yrs max. good luck, hoped this does it for u.

Won't turn over

your starter is shot most likely. the noise is the drive gear at the end of the starter not throwing far enough onto the flywheel. Dont keep starting like this as a new flywheeel will be v expensive if damaged! Have your battery checked out too as a limp battery will not produce the power that the solenoid needs to throw that gear out properly and a new starter will fail too.
Pls rate me if this helps.
