Is there a cabin filter in a 1995 geo prisum?

hard question that is. very very very hard if you had read the service manual it says, OPTIONAL try alldata.com see HVAC chapter. or buy a real FSM book. even my 2004 GEO, (last year) says, OPTIONAL and mine has it. i think 1995 is none year. (pure shooting from hip, Geo wise)

AC switch inside car that turns compressor on flashed and shut down!Changed switch and does the same thing.

the car has a LOGIC module called AMP. Airconditioning Module, PAIN. its just logic. it has inputs and it shuts down the compressor on all cars, made for good reasons. up to 6. 1: hi/low switch (freon) pressure too high or low. 12vdc on both sides of switch is manditory at all times on. 2:evap core, iced up. nah 3: A/C blower dead, (heater blower must be on) 4: ECU says engine overloaded. (hah, not parked) 5: A/C engine overheat switch, bad, and telling AMP engine is overheated. if not true the sender is bad or wire is grounding out. 6: some older Geos have throttle switch that can fail, the A/c cuts at wideopen throttle. we can get your A/c schematic. ask for it. the geo tracker works simular. see that here learn how to fix this one and yours is same. http://www.fixkick.com/air-conditioning.html see 9 - 12 reasons there. even 13 with throttle switch . ignore its too cold out for A/c to work. yes, amp senses that too. on newer cars, even more reasons, (engine in limphome , tranny in limphome, and more)

A/c on my 94 geo prizm doesnt work

the first test is to , the 94s ware 1/2 R12 cars and 1/2 R134, the sticker near the RAD tells you which it has. the Compressor is the fist thing to watch. here is the starters list. you at 3 1: blower works, in cab. 2: A/C on and lamp glows. 3: Compressor shaft turns, not just the pulley the shaft.! belt fell off or slips bad here, fix that first. 4 engine not overheated, or overheat switch open. 5: hi/low switch tripped. 6: one of the many A/C amp (a.c error logic box) inputs has tripped. do not attempt to bypass the AMP, or you may burn up a good compressor. and worse. ask how to test the amp. after answering #3, can advise each step and simple tests.

CHECK ENGINE WONT RESET AFTER

You have to disconnect both battery cables for about ten minutes. But, if there is some problem it will come back. Take the car to your local auto parts store and have them read the code see if something else is wrong. Maybe a vacuum hose is loose now due to all the work done.

Emission test failed HC (PPM)

i can be, only 2 things, or both.1: engine running way too rich.2: dead cat.(both happens, too)replace the cat, might be cheaper that full engine diagnosis and repair.in a real shop we test the cat. using up and down stream tests. with the 5 gas analyser.but the truth is a new CAT can hide a very filthy running motor.

How do you replce broken door handle?

This is a problem that you should be able to fix. With the interior door panel there are 3 screws. 2 in the arm rest and 1 on the door handle(opener), take those out. There is a C-clip on the window crank that needs to be removed. They make a cheap little tool to remove those but I've heard people using a shop rag and removing the c clip. To remove it, turn crank to around 9 oclock then slide the tool or rag behind the crank also coming from 9 oclock. Any position will work, my point being the tool must slide in from behind the crank handle. Use a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the edges of the door panel away. There are some little clips that pop loose. It's okay if some break you can buy more. After that you will slide the door handle (opener) forward a little to pop out. Twist and turn the panel to get it over the door handle. There are 2 bolts that hold the handle on from the inside. They are 10 mm. You can reach the most forward one pretty easy but the back one is taken out through a hole in the metal door panel. Mine had a sticker over the hole with a big yellow dot on it. After that it takes some pretty good force to get the handle out of the hole. Don't be afraid to push on it. When it pops out take some wire cutters and cut the little plastic clip that holds the metal rod to the handle. The lock twists out of the hole. Now this is when you need 3 hands. Hold the new handle close to the opening and twist the lock into position. Don't attach the metal rod yet. Now actually put your key in the lock. This helps you hold the lock in the correct position while inserting the handle. Put the top of the handle in first and then the bottom should snap in next. Now from the inside, reach up and slide metal rod in the hole and rotate the plastic clip to secure it. Now the hardest thing is getting that back bolt in. It helps again to leave the key in the lock and rotate it so the bolt can secure the locking mechanism to the handle. Put the front bolt in reinstall the interior door panel and you should be in business. Good Luck
