Auto Trans I had to replace solenoid in transmission there are two of them when you drop the pan. After testing with a 12 volt battery one was bad replaced and transmission works fine. Mine was a 1996, cost about $90 for solenoid.

If it is one light it may be the bulb or connector. Both lights on one side a wiring problem. Both sides, turn signal or multi function switch or fuse/relays.

Easy problem. 1. Find the horn. 2. Disconnect the wire to the horn. 3. Apply voltage from the battery to the horn via a jumper cable. 4. No sound? Horn is bad, replace it. 5. Horn sounds? Horn relay is bad, find it and replace it. Could also be the horn switch in the steering wheel. With horn disconnected, push on steering wheel and listen for the relay to click. No click? then you have a bad steering wheel switch or no relay. Or take the car into a reputable service shop. Taking your steering wheel apart is difficult, probably not something you want to do on your own.

Possible timing issue, I don't think the car uses a choke. Poss vacuum leak. start by having the t belt rechecked by the installer.Also ck the trans fluid

old post. too fast hot or cold., this car has a ECU, brain, the brain controls RPM full time hot, not you unless you step on the throttle. only IT does. the ECU. if the idle is wrong when cold engine, that is the IAC failing. or is normal, I dont know you never stated hot cold or and RPM

Points worn? Did they still use points in '92? If so, replace points and condenser.

This vehicle has no mass air flow sensor , it uses a MAP sensor for speed density fuel control , My self I would hook up a scan tool an see what the block learn an integrator or showing , this is same as fuel trims on OBD2 vehicles I would also look at the map sensor voltage parameter ! A bad map sensor can cause a lot of fuel to dump into the engine ! Manifold Absolute Pressure MAP Sensors

it pulls out. with fingers. i assume you found it, lacking the where, question/ page 13 here> it is. http://metroxfi.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/suzuki_swift_1992.pdf its in the" MAIN fuse box." it has a PINK wire, like no other wire in car. pink is fuel pump power. the relay closes only for 3 seconds, key on, then opens the important things are it closes cranking and running. and puts 12vdc to the fuel pump cranking or running. the main box is behind the battery, and is marked fuel; pump relay. do not hot wire it or risk blowing the ECU to H3LL the fuse must be good too, to the relay. the ECU controls this relay all the time , to prevent fires. it has logical rules to govern this, ask for what they are. if need be. the main relay and pump are same, can be swapped.

If it's the plastic fitting it scares into the engine you can break the piece in the engine apart apart. Be careful as it is threaded in and you do not want to damage the threads. Auto stores sell a metal replacement.

buy 4 qt. fill to top mark, always buy extra oil, so you can keep it full , im sure any 92 burns oil,tad more than new. or if you drive fast , it sure will burn more. fsm quote 3.7qt

is shifter on steering wheel ,is wheel turned really far one way or other if it is you need to turn wheel a little more the way it is turned, and it should come out of park

my guess is its not electric shifted, (what trans model is it) so step 2 in the FSM book says.... and i paraphrase step1 is stall test (my guess passes in 1st and reverse) step 2, line pressure test? if that fails, tranny is bad.

which engine 1.0L: 3 cyl? called a G10. or called LP2 by GM. there are many parts. for ignition the CMP sensor in the distributor the ECU , generates all spark via the ignitor and it runs the coil. so what module do you what? my wild guess is you have spark problems, does it run? at all? the ECU will tell you when the CMP or ignitor is bad, did you ask it? posting symptoms always wins over show and tell parts. huh>? for sure that, not knowing the names. so here is me, rolling dice on G10s the CMP cam sensor is in the distributor. the ECU sees those pulses, if bad sets a DTC error then the ECU generates spark , all spark by pulling the Ignitor the ECU uses the ingitor (its just a large transistor) that changes the induction coil and makes spark the ECU also throws a DTC if the ignitor goes dead to see said errors, insert the diagnostic connector jumper and crank a dead engine (is it.) for 5 long seconds. the ECU will in fact report, even 1 missing pulse in 10. here is the drawing, (alldata.com, has it , log in and read) need help ask.. where is the ignitor or ECU?, which is it?, do say and can answer. ecu the ECM is located on the driver's side of the vehicle behind and below the instrument panel. the ignitor is near the ign, coil each generation of swift/metro has the ignitor in the ECU or outside and varies by engine type. not stated. the below is G10 ECU. CMP, ECU, filter, ignitor and Ignition coil at bottom

Did you change the transmission? You state you are trying to change it. I woulkd think all you need is a new valve body. If the valve body is bad it will not shift the rans automaticly all the time. It has pistons in it and they are sticking. When they do that the trans will shift manually only
