2nd row removable seat is stuck with only the rear latches attached. The front is not attached and now cannot release the rear latches, or get the front attached. Normally the front gets attached first, but I hooked the rear 1st by mistake.
Got it, with the help and eyes of my wife. The rear latch releases as the seat back is lowered. This release is ALMOST seat back down (about 3 inches above the seat bottom). As the seat back lowers, apply constant lift on the rear latch, and it will release as the seat back lowers. Hard-won knowledge - I think I invented some bad words in the process.

I have a Kia Sedona. The button on the gear shift has been getting stuck on and off for about a week. I give it a little hit when it got stuck and it would release. then yesterday when I put the car in park it wouldn't shut off all the way and I couldn't get the key out. Any suggestions?
Mist the switch with a small amount of windex then blow it out with canned air.

I have an 06 Kia Sedona with 50,600 miles. What do I need to do to take care of my transmission fluid? Can I use a transmission flush, drain the old stuff and just add new fluid? How much fluid do I add? Will the transmission flush deteriorate or damage any internal parts? Is there any type of internal or external trans filter that needs to be replaced? Is it easily replaceable?
Transmissions these days need very little maintenance, our fluids are advanced formulas that hold up for an average of 100,000 miles, most vehicle manufactures recommend no maintenance for automatic transaxles these days.As for a transmission flush I don't recommend this because it's an expense that is not needed and possibly could loosen some contaminants setting them loose to possibly clog some of the very small passages in the transaxle requiring full transaxle service, which could include removal, dissassembly, etc of your trans. Now draining and replacing fluid is OK if that makes you feel a peace of mind but normally not needed,if you decide to do that,as far as quantity just note approx. how much fluid is drained and purchase similar amount in quarts and then refill (DO NOT OVERFILL)
start engine, let it warm up to operating temp, then check the transmission dipstick for the correct level, remember the vehicle needs to be on a level surface, hot idiling in park when you check the fluid level. Good luck !

where is the fuse for the windshield washer motor located and what amp is it on the 2006 kia sedona and is it labeled
Hello and Welcome to Fixya
The fuse is in the engine compartment fuse box. See diagram in the owners manual section 6-11..to find out which one it is, or read the list (provided with amp labeling) on the inside cover to review the fuses there.
Locate the windshield washer fuse accordingly and replace it with the same labeled new fuse.
Do RATE my solution, If this helps you out.
Regards.

what does code p2189 and p2187 mean on kia sadona 2006 inspection rejected
code p2189 and p2187 = air/fuel mixture too lean on both cylinder banks which in turn generates excessive emissions = failed inspection.
What can cause a lean mixture:
- Incorrect main charge signal
- Intake air system leaking
- Fuel pressure too low
- Volume supply of fuel pump too low
- Mechanical fault in injectors
- PCV valve leaks
- Leaks in exhaust system
- EVAP canister purge valve mechanically faulty (hangs open)
All these must be checked.

all of the lights dim when letting off the gas pedal. Is the problem the Battery?
I WOULD CHECK ALTERNATOR OUT PUT AT BATTERY WITH ENGINE RUNNING.VOLTAGE AT BATTERY SHOULD BE 13.5 - 14.5 VOLTS. IF NOT CHECK ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT MAKE SURE BELT NOT LOOSEN DUE TO BAD BELT TENSIONER, I HAVE SEEN THIS PROBLEM BEFORE WHILE BACK.WHEN HEADLIGHT BRIGHTEN UP WHEN YOU PRESS ACCELERATOR ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR GETTING READY TO FAIL OR ENGINE IDLING TOO LOW.IF YOU HAVE TO REPLACE ALTERNATOR OR BATTERY FIRST TURN OFF RADIO TO KEEP FROM LOCKING IT OUT.CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE WHEN YOU TURN OFF ENGINE BATTERY VOLTAGE SHOULD DROP BACK DOWN TO 12.6 VOLTS. IF BATTERY QUICKLY DROP DOWN 11.0 TO 10 VOLTS BATTERY HAS WEAK CELLS. IF ANY THING WRONG WITH BAATERY OR ALTERNATOR YOU WILL SEE LOW CHARGE OR LOW BATTERY LIGHT ON THE DASH.

where is the blower motor on a 2006 kia sedona lx
The front heater/AC blower is under the dash on the passenger side and can be removed in less than 5 minutes with a #2 phillips screw driver. (6 screws) I purchase an after-market blower for $65 as opposed to the dealers $175. When the "after-Market" blower arrived I found it had the same stampings, stickers and was made in the same Korean factory! The rear blower is in the passenger side rear quarter panel and is a little tougher to remove. If you have any skill with a screw driver it's a piece of cake.
