NO,it came on cos you have a problem either with the sensor or the airbag,or the wiring but whatever it aint something you can do yourself, unless you have a diagnostic computer.

hi, if the battery been taken off the radio go's into SAFE MODE on some cars on other cars you need to take the radio OUT and WRITE DOWN the (S.N.) SERIAL NUMBER this number has it's own CODE NUMBER. or take it OUT and take to an AUTOELECTRICIAN and they can READ the little SECURITY CHIP and GIVE YOU THE CODE £15 NORMALLY. or go to the internet type RADIO CODES FOR 2006 hyundai. gerry

hi, thats a good question first you need the right size socket plus ratchet and (8 inch half inch drive bar), ( i think it is 10 mm deep socket) then follow the spark lead to the side of the engine OR if you have the type inserted in the top of the engine. take engine cover off then disconnect multi plug and unbolt the (coil spark plug unit all in one) at the very top of the engine. i have included both. gerry

This should not happen at this age (2006) if not driven too much. If it is under manufacturers warranty then dont wait and take it to the service center as this could happen due to the oil burn within the engine. Atleast not at idle.

because of injectar the fuel dosnt get to enjine so u should service your injectar and i am 100% sure.

wen you change or drain the water out, it should reset by itself.

are you sure they didnt change fronts to rear so that you would have the safest tyres on the front???
From my experience,working for hyundai, you would be lucky to get 25/30k from a pair of fronts and about 50 from the rears......
also, as tyres are relatively cheap, why would they swap for a pair of old,worn tyres,dont make sense...... (its easier to go to a parking lot at night and steal all four from a new car........)

sounds like fuel,starvation,filter blocked, exhaust might need decoking,air filter cleaning

I WOULD NEED TO RESEARCH THE ACCENT A LITTLE MORE BUT MOST NEWER VEHICLES NOW HAVE A WEIGHT ACTIVATED SWITCH IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT SEAT TO PROVIDE UNWANTED DEPLOYMENT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WHEN NO ONE WAS SITTING IN IT USUALLY AROUND SEVENTY POUNDS TO ACTIVATE OTHERWORDS YOU DO NOT WANT TO DISABLE DUE TO LIABILTY ISSUES

hi from uk assume you mean the power steering suddenly went heavy as if power steering not working ? can i assume you've checked fluid level in case there has been a loss of fluid fro reservoir ? if ok ? then your fault may well be the power steering pump drive (fanbelt)belt the pump is driven by a small belt from the water pump pully at the front of engine and it may have snapped? or simply come off for some reason? however this is a simple replacement d i y job and if you have spanners 12mm combination you can do this job 1/2 hour ? may i suggest you also check the other belt which drives water pump+alternator from crank pully too as this may be on its way out ? and if it does fail you will lose p/steering again along with water pump andno circulation of coolant ! and the aalternator will not be charging either hope this helps/inspires you and if you req info on these belts renewal ? by all means come back ? best of luck from uk
