2005 Lincoln Town Car. What can I do to fix the hood, it will not latch securely?

Spray the lock mechanism and saftey latch with WD40 and operate it a few times. There is adjustment on the latch, but you shouldn't need it unless you can see that it moved.

You need to go here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Trace out the circuit then do electrical testing , don't play the guessing game or parts roulette . Go an watch some basic electrical trouble shooting videos on you tube , also how to read a wiring diagram etc.....

Should I replace water pump?

Hi Fred: Tricky question. Personally, I would happily head out on my trip. That said, depending on the mileage already on the vehicle, and the maintenance history, I would be checking the tires and brakes, check ALL fluids, doing an oil change, and replace the air cleaner and wiper blades. Coast to coast is really less than most yearly distance traveled so It's the adventure to consider. Cheers, and enjoy.

Where is the fuse for rhe auxiliary power outlet

I think you meant power outlet port under front ashtray. Manual doesn't show specifically that port but it should be either your left knee area when you sit on driver's seat or Black plastic box under the hood near battery. You can use test light to each fuse to find which fuse is blown. That port is not controlled by ignition (port continued to have power 24-7, even you take key out)

Can anyone give me info for the Krystal Enterprises Digital Control Modules installed in a 2005 Lincoln T/C. Why sometimes they work and sometimes not. Are they dangerous. fire ?

Whole control doesn't work ? No power for rear cabin at all ? it could be bad connection. I have friend freaked out "I have no power for whole rear cabin!! It was working !! somebody help! " at Emmy award Limo parking few years ago. I looked at her limo, she did turn main switch off on overhead control module unknowingly. maybe she touched something else but accidentally flip rear main power off. Is not the case ? also, if your 2nd alternator burned out, you have no power for rear cabin. But if it's the case, it remain no power for rear cabin (and outside coach light) until you replace 2nd alternator. It won't be "sometimes work sometimes don't". I had friend who had bad connection (lose connection) at power switch (switching main battery and 2nd battery, it's engine compartment on top of passenger side front tire well)

2005'Towncar. 40k miles. Started making an odd sound on acceleration; hard to describe but sounds like it is coming from passenger dash side. Maybe an air noise?? No sound on very soft acceleration

Turn off heater/air conditioner and accelerate briskly. If noise does not occur problem is probably a regulator in the heater/air conditioning system located under the dash.

This is usually fairly easy. Before you remove it, make sure you have a diagram on how the belt goes around the pullies. Tou might want to check on YouTube for videos first. Anything with your engine size should be pretty accurate.

What problem can be caused by an air bag light being on in our 2005 Lincoln Town Car

Believe it or not, but 99% of time it is a faulty seat beat. At the dealer they run around $600.00.including labor. Even if you get your machanic to install it ford charges around $300.00 for the seat belt. Your best bet is to try a auto junk place and see if you can find a color that matches you're..Hope this has been helpful..

Front spring broken how do i repair that

You will have to take it to a shop that can lift up the vehicle and take out the broken spring and replace it with a new one. Most likely a strut assembly that can be replaced as a whole unit.
