What was the reason given for replacing the canister? Was it a trouble code that showed up on a scanner, and if so what was the code. It doesn't seem plausible that a 2005 model vehicle would need a new evap canister. I think the only way the canister would affect the driving characteristics of your vehicle is if it was damaged and had a bad vacuum leak.

lol The previous answers are a joke. Engine runs, maybe slightly rough, tach not working, and engine light on. Typical ailment for a Kia. Most common issue is the 'Ignition Fail Sensor', located on the engine near the water outlet.

could be many things but if it doesn't even try to start at all, the motor doesn't turn over then check your battery connections. starter is on the bottom of motor so wire may have scraped loose from the starter if you are getting power from the battery. start there first.

probably not necessary as it may be a reverse servo/solenoid that is the fault have a proper diagnosis done by an accredited auto transmission specialist shop and have the fault codes read as well to make adjustments the oil pan has to come off

Sounds like a loose wire or bad connection. Try accessing the rear of the knob and make sure all cables are securely fixed (it may be a spade fitting or a soldered connection). If you can follow the wires back to the fan check these as well paying particular attention to any connector block that you come across. It is possible the knob itself is faulty and the circuit/connection makes and breaks randomly, in which case the only option is to replace it

I could tell you, but you would probably regret that. If you don't know enough about an engine to know what the valve covers are and where they are located, telling you where they are would only encourage you to do something that you are most likely in no way capable of doing. I do not mean this in any derogatory way whatsoever, but there are so many people on this site who feel that they can repair anything they own by themselves, you sometimes have to assess their capability by the question(s) they ask.

Before you do anything else. Check whether the gear shift is in neutral or park. If it still can't turn you may have to shift your gear shift several time.

If the heat selector control button is working properly and there is no heat, check level of coolant. Low coolant will be a definate cause of low/no heat. If coolant level is good, you need to check blend doors for proper operation on the heater control assembly
