On a 2000 Saturn SL2 1.9 twincam,problem with
Did you do a compression test on those two cylinders ? Check spark with spark tester ? of course the advance is going to jump around with a missing engine . Timing issue ,jumped time , engine mechnical problem . Testing an not guessing .
Replaced ignition switch, key, battery and now car wont start after running then it will start up hours later..is it the starter?
When key is turned the starter is energized by a solenoid that applies power directly from the battery to the starter. Any loose connection will prevent the starter from turning over. The solenoid can also have burnt spots on the contacts inside case that will prevent current from getting to the starter. A click noise is the solenoid energizing so
if all connections are tight and the battery is good the only
other problem is the starter may be bad. Brushes on the
starter may have seen their life ended. this is usually identified by tapping on starter with a hammer while trying to start engine. If starter spins, replacement is needed.
I have a clicking sound
Unless it was a sound of your valves beating the top of the motor that is one of the most normal sounds for any operational engine is the click the clicking you hear it's going to be electricity going through your coils so it's pretty normal if you have a distributor base system that would be different I'm pretty sure your car is a OBD2 so it would be a coil base system so I wouldn't worry about it

A/C compressor clutch relay maybe . It's located in the under hood fuse box . If you look on the bottom of the relay an see pin's 30 & 87 an locate where they plug into the fuse box an jump with a piece of wire . Just to see if clutch engages . Pin 30 should have B+ voltage .
2000 saturn brake lights not working
None of the brake lights work , the center high mount lights too ! I can't believe both tail lamp assembly's going bad at the same time ! Wrench light on means codes are stored in the BCM , did your Mechanic check codes .
Front Door Panel removal
removed the 5 screws on
Did you find the one inside the door pull cup ?
Remove the push pin rivet on the upper rear edge of the trim panel and the screw at the upper front edge near the mirror.
Remove the trim panel fasteners at the pull cup and lower the rear corner of the trim panel.
Pull up on the door trim panel assembly to disengage the trim panel to door structure attaching hooks and remove the door trim panel.

Engine idle to high under load. Then drops to normal
Clean the throttle plate . videos on youtube . Throttle sticking , check cable also . You could check this with voltage check at the throttle postion sensor signal wire to PCM . With the key on you should read 0.5 at idle
No power and battery is full
If the engine won't crank, check the condition and tightness of the battery leads, particularly the black earth where it connects to the engine block/bodywork. Loosen and tighten each connection in turn.
An engine that won't crank is a classic symptom of a 'bad earth' .
If the engine cranks slowly this is also a symptom of a bad earth/cable - or a defective battery.
Can you get a friend or neighbour to boost-start your car? If, after cleaning and checking the battery lead connections the car is still sluggish in cranking and won't start - suspect a faulty battery.
Will your car start with a boost-start? Most workshops will do a free battery check for you.
Well not stay running, hard to start
Will not stay running , hard to start ! Have the fuel pump pressure an flow tested . Check the fuel pressure regulator for fuel leakage , have the vehicle check for codes .
