Hi Rich the best way to determine what hose is the fuel feed is to disconnect the hoses and place the ends in a container or empty bottle and switch the ignition on for a few seconds and then see which one supplys fuel or the other cause could be it needs time to regain fuel pressure since ir was disconnected.

normally one it is near the thermostat housing and has up to 4 wires attach to the plug it is used to repot engine coolant temperature to the ECM so that air/fuel mixture can be adjusted and the fans switched on through a relay don;t confuse it with a coolant temperature sender which has 1 wire and works the temp gauge

buy a tube if silicon dielectric grease and grease it up. or buy new wire set. looks like those are relics. its running on 3 cylinders now.. and will shake like a wet dog. as all 4 bangers do on 3 live cylinders this grease is sold in all auto stores at the register in what looks like catchup packets.... all have it , use. it . price $1

Could be a faulty fan motor, or fan relay. You should be able to run a wire from battery power to the fan to make it run at full speed to test.

maybe is the timing belt, or the fuel pomp.

dome of these were located in the glove box. try there.

Cant you disconnect the battery and the computer resets..Watch out for the alarm.

ill not tell you to read the FSM.not me,,, nobody wants to read. so..ill answerwell , the core most come out/if just look there at the valve, you can see its married to the core. so the question is what are all ways to get the core out(EVAP)there are 2 ways, ill not say to read the FSMway, as you wont like what it says or cant find the chapter there....ill tell you that one guy I know removed it his way by cutting parts in the dash so the AC side can come out , not using the full dash out method. tranny is dead,get a new one

but skipped spark plugs. (air and fuel filter ) finish the 60k mile tuneup????? and are the tips, white, black, oil soaked, green , gas soaked? shoe drops. but runs perfect other wise if the 16v engine, says that on top, of valve cover it has wells spark wells are they full of oil, that is the 60k tuneup step that calls out valve lash checks and new gasket there.' if they fill with water or oil , that will make starting hard. there are 50 more ways, we dont guess, the tests and tools are easy and cheap. got tools? hard starts, ? basics.

• low battery (for 3 reasons) = low spark energy.
• low compression, skipping the 60k means the cam belt slipped.
• bad spark , not doing a full 60k tuneup.
• bad fueling. (too little or too much) "complex set of tests but scan it first"
• EGR sticking open. clean it.
• melted cat. (not your's, as it runs perfect otherwise)
• lots more, i stop.

might be the camshaft sensor.

correct spark plugs. gapped to under hood sticker gap>? (EPA sticker) replace wires 1 by 1 not mixing wires up>? oops? knocked off a critical sensor? map or maf. is the check engine light on , running, yes, then scan it. scan the OBD2 port at ,knees. its telling you what you did wrong. listen to it.

there is no EFI fuel injection map on that car. the MAP is for the EGR tests ONLY and is smack on top off the Plenum.' the MAF at air cleaner, is used to measure air flow and most injection rates are based on that.
