You take the front bumper off to take the light off to change the bulb ,simple isnt it

COULD HAVE BAD FUEL WRONG TYPE FUEL COULD NEED NEW AIR FILTER. DIESEL ENGINE NEEDS AIR TO OPERATE.IF AIR FILTER RESTRICTED.DIESEL ENGINE WONT RUN AND CLOGGED FUEL FILTER CAUSE STARTING PROBLEMS PROBLEMS WITH TURBOCHARGER OR TURBOCHARGER ACTUATOR WOULD CAUSE ENGINE RUN VERY SLOW NO POWER ON TAKE OFF.I SAY PROBLEM IN FUEL SYSTEM OR AIR INTAKE SYSTEM.IF YOU HAD ANY OTHER PROBLEMS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL FLASH ON.

Since its a newer vehicle it would the system is reading the condition and only gets a generic reason of why its getting a code via the ecm so it puts the car into limp mode to allow you enough to get the car safely to the shop without damaging I would try to clean the wastegate if not replace it with a used one I am sure its just build up causing this but they are hard to get at. Common issue on the X type. Sound like your EGR valve is sticking.

If you know what an EGR valve is and that it is your problem then you know enough to replace it. If not, which is apparently the problem, you need to take it to a dealer because your are problably wrong.
