BATTERY CONNECTIONS ARE CLEAN AND TIGHT?? CABLES ARE TIGHT AT THE ENGINE. AND GROUNDED AT GROUND STRAP???

You have a slight leak from one of the hose connections going to the heater core.Yes you can do it yourself.Check it out.

wheres the sensor ?? could it be in the wing mirror ? if i knew where it was to start with i could work out what could be causing it ,if in the mirror could the heated mirror circuit be causing it as its possible the sensor has broke loose from its fitting .

The alarm system malfunction:
1. The remote fob does have two batteries. Did you replaced both batteries?


2. If buttons operated repeatedly while out of range and system becomes inoperative, the remote control needs to be programmed.
3. Remote control can only be programmed using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car.

I suggest you use VOLVO VIDA DICE Diagnostic Tool check the engine,look what's wrong with your engine.

I do have this information in my alldata book but it means going outside in the dark to find the books in the yard ,even this i dont mind but the important thing here is is it a petrol engine or a diesel and the specs will be different
