Solid red dot came on right side. Now turn key and nothing
3.7L gas or Diesel? (know what you are driving?)
jump start it , call AAA and do that.
or uses your jumper cables, buy them and keep them hidden in car at all times.
battery lugs all white with corrosion, clean them.
wiggle shifter yet.? while cranking?
try to crank it, in Neutral not park , yet?
cranking takes 20 times the current than headlights. or more diesel.
and 1000s times DING power. so means nothing.
what light the glove box oper guide tells you all lamps
book is free if lost (ask)
30 objects, which one is RED?
on my 08 the solid red (has no mark) is SKIM immobilzer light.
(its a stealth light on purpose) #20 is left. (kills fuel not cranking)
did you mean, the Charge lamp was ON, just before the ENGINE
died, lamp #10 , THAT MEANS the charge system failed.
and that cause the battery to DISCHARGE.
and then engine must die. (all cars)
charge the battery and cure #10 lamp warning true cause.
never drive and ignore warning lamps if you in fact did.
how'd I do?

Have a 2006 jeep liberty 3.7 that feels like it's misfiring or transmission converter is going in or out of lockup. There are no codes being set. This problem happens randomly at all speeds. Any id
you drove with scan tool running did you to see if you get
any P03xx codes on the FLY? yes/no
some can pop in and out fast.!
missing that fact ,misses the boat.
if engine is not misfiring then its a/t
the TCC lock up only happens under very specail set of rules
light loads. if you learn that (off FSM chart) you can drive
car such that TCC is defeated and if it misfires now ,its the engine
easy peasy
do a tune up in last 9 years>? full engine tune up.
and check trans levels too.
if random , you need to use the scan too better.
driving, you get wife to drive and you scan, see?
the PCM will report many things, but you need to drive it.
my cheap scan tool can log for hours. and can come one
and see all live streaming data (PID's) and all DTCs during that time
sitting at my desk. (omg, the crank sensor burped, 6 times)

Fix door ajar warning system
Are you able to get an idea on which door is really the problem?
Luxury cars had problems in the past with the wires in the front doorjam(s). after open/close the wires would develop open short type situations, Another thing that may be the door switches that relay info to the computer are ready for last rites.
Plunger type switches have problems as well.
Also check the contacts as in some situations these will get air corrosion.
Try using duct tape to hold down the plungers, doing this one at a time so you can find the problem. Might want to check to see if the door is making enough contact upon closing.
Worst case is taking the Negative lead off the battery over night this might correct a computer caused problem.

Compressor never cuts off
The air conditioning relay may be sticking. See the fuse and relay box in the engine compartment. Using the top of the box, locate the relay in the diagram. Check the relay.

Car will not start
I don't know how you tested the battery and starter, but let's go over it again. If the motor makes no noise when you turn the key, turn on the headlights. If they're bright, chances are the battery is good. Now, turn on the key and move shifter to N., Try to crank again. Next, back to P, and get somebody who trusts you to find the starter motor and gently bang on it with a hammer while you turn the key to start. Other things it could be is the ignition switch, the neutral safety switch, or starter relay, which all need testing point to point with a test light. Good luck!

How do I reset the ABS,ESP and Trac lighte after the senser is replaced.
You can find someone that will lend you an OBDII scanner, and learn to use it as there may be an operation that says 'ERASE CODES' then proceed with the operation.
PLEASE NOTE: It is a FEDERAL LAW that the repair shops CAN NOT erase codes.
Or these codes lights usually, if the problem is fixed, will go out after 50 starts.
Some of the Box Auto stores Auto Zone, Advance, etc... have / will scan vehicles.
