2003 Isuzu Rodeo - Page 3 Questions & Answers
I lost my keys for my 2003 rodeo
you will have to get a dealer to cut new keys to code that dealers have access to and then get them to program to car but also erase old keys so vehicle wont start with old keys
or next more expensive option is new keys, ignition barrel and door barrels replaced which are differently same coded key and locks as well as programming and erasing old keys.
My isuzu rodeo wont shift into 4/4 no light nothing its a 2003 v6 auto
Why fit new components if you haven't carried out a good check of the system. Is there any power to the actuator? Have you jacked up a wheel to see if its engaged but no light? When was the last time you used it, is it lack of use? Can you operate the transfer box manually from underneath, you may have to remove the operating motor?
Engine code p1153
The heated oxygen sensor ("H02S) on "bank 2" has failed and should be replaced. Bank 2 is the side of the engine opposite bank one (where cylinder #1 is located). The sensor is used to adjust fuel "trim" on that bank of cylinders to assure thebest fuel efficiency and the least pollution. Failing to replace it can result in a ruined catalytic converter, so address the matter ASAP!
I can not put my 4x4 2003 rodeo into 4wd.
Have you check the transfer case to make sure when you try to engage it that it is locking the case in? If not then you may have a linkage problem, if it is locking it in you may have a baring issue which is a bit more of a problem
I have a 2003 isuzu rodeo my brakes are very hard to push. line was disconected from the manifold to the mastercylider recently and was wondering if it need to be bleed or how do i get the pedal from
Good day
If you had disconnect the hydraulic line then yes you have to bleed all the air out. You need someone to help you.
I understand that you can still use your brakes but it's hard to stop with the force you have to put on the brake. This problem comes from the booster. The booster is the big round drum sits behind the master cylinder. There is a pipe connect from the booster to the intake manifold. Check that pipe if it's blocked or not. If it is then check out the pipe got a check valve in the line might cause the problem. To do a test you can disconnect the pipe from the booster and put your thumb over it and feel the suction on it. If no suction the pipe is blocked and if not then you will hear an uneven idling in the engine. If the pipe got a suction and you put it back on to the booster and the engine still idle bad then the booster rubber is broken and you have to get a new booster.
Good luck from Will.

four wheel drive has an actuator on axel under the guard has to plugs and some vacuum hoses connected to it around maybe 6 hoses I picked one up at the junk yard
4 wheel drive
Sounds like the transfer case actuator. I would start by checking for a blown fuse or loose wiring harness at the actuator.
Will it it shift into 4-low?
