Check Gauge 98 Mountaineer

Usually this is a symptom of oil starvation. The oil is not returning to the top of the engine fast enough. Sometimes the oil drains in the heads are clogged and the oil can not flow to the crankcase and be returned to the top of the engine. You may need to run an oil cleaner. You may have a problem with the oil filter check valve and need a Ford oil filter. The proper weight of oil is also necessary. After the oil warms it will flow better. A mechanic can remove the oil pressure sender, temporarily install an oil pressure gauge and really find out what your pressure is doing.

Heater temp on mercury '98 mountaineer only blows hot

Everything that is heat and cooling in a vehicle is controlled by vacuum from the engine. It appears to me that your blend door vacuum line to the temp control switch is either off or cracked/broken and not making things work the way you want/expect. It's the vacuum friend.

Worn drive line parts like universal joints will clunk as well as transfer cases problems, have it inspected on a car lift for worn parts. As far as the vague description of a transmission concern not sure what to tell you, maybe the transmission is in need of an overhaul. Do you have a check engine light or OD light flashing on the shifter?

1998 mercury mountainer code p0455 large leak what is the fix

There is no one fix for this fault, you need a smoke test done to see if there really is a leak or it is a sensor malfunction, that takes a skilled tech to figure out what and which is the cause. This code can be a real nightmare to diagnose..

Replaced everything in brake system including brake booster, calipers, pads, rotars still won't come to a complete stop It "coasts". To a stop no matter how hard I press on the brake.

Does it feel spongy when you press on pedal ? Sounds a lot like air in the hydraulic lines. Bleed the entire system again and check for leaks in all the lines. Maybe the bleed screws are loose.

Changed fuses ND now my truck won't start 98 mercury mountaineer

Which fuses did you change? I don't know what ND means? If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, also check fuel injector pulse. What about your security system? Can you check for applicable trouble codes. To check, you need an obd2 code reader, at least. There may not be any codes?
