I bought a used trans
Hard to say as it could be a different motor all together and may not line up. The splines are not clutch specific but motor specific. You may have the wrong trans altogether from the sounds of it and its not interchangable due to the difference in splines. The casing is the same on most make transes but the difference is the internals, it appears you have one for a larger motor hence the extra spline for more HP. In this case you will need to get the correct trans as the clucth won't bridge the splines from 19-20. They have to be identical on both ends.
Hey hows it going,
try the crank sensor. If that does not work, it would have to be the ECM

I would invest in a repair manual which can be purchased at any automobile part store. Because it may be the temp control unit which is located next to the thermostat or a clogged radiator. Antifreeze coolant may need replaced. Therefore, the investment in a repair manual is well worth the price.
My 1990 honda crx clutch is very hard, after i
Generally that stiffness is due to a failed clutch cover (engine side). the pressure fingers inside lose their ability to compress and throw out sufficiently. I have had mixed results with aftermarket pressure plates as many are stiff right out of the carton. If you can afford, use honda oem parts for best results and dont forget to include the bearing
Starter want engage.
Battery or Starter solenoid needs checking. Low voltage on the battery and the solenoid fails to move. Bad contacts on the solenoid and the starter motor gets no power. It could also be the starter motor but hopefully not, it's probably expensive.
Fuel pump
if you aren't hearing the fuel pump prime you have a dead sending unit so yes you would have to drop the tank to repair this problem
Car want start
check the fuel pump. If yo pull the fuel line to the carb and turn on the ignition you should get fuel pumping out of the line. Also check fuel filter under the right side of the car. If its clogged its not going to start.
CAR WON`T START.

Cam belt loose is there an adjuster
Yes there is. You don't have to, but it's a good idea to remove the lower timing cover to adjust it. There is a bolt that goes through the middle of the lower cover, it has a 12mm hex head. If you loosen this off a couple of turns while turning the crankshaft just a bit (NOT the cam!) counter clockwise, the roller should slide in its slot to take up the slack. There is supposed to be a spring acting on the roller when you loosen the bolt but sometimes the last guy that did the timing belt, doesn't put it back on. That's why you may have to remove the lower cover. This engine will damage itself if the belt breaks so make sure it is replaced or tensioned accordingly.
Crx cable clutch problem
The clutch assy. is worn out. When a clutch is new the springs on the pressure plate sit flat. When you push on the clutch the springs don't have to move far to disengage, making it easy to press on the clutch pedal. As the clutch wears the fingers of the clutch spring move out, clutch pedal effort and travel increases to the point that the clutch will not disengage anymore. Along the life of the clutch the cable can be adjusted to minimize this. You have reached the end of the adjustment, sorry for the bad news but the clutch needs to be replaced.
