Where is the water coolant sensor located please?
The sensor is in the bottom of the coolant tank on the passenger side of the car. My low coolant light stayed on so I cut the wires and twisted them together. You cant buy just the sensor. You have to buy the whole tank. I dont have any coolant leaks so I just by passed the sensor.
2001 CADILLAC DEVILLE HOW TO BYPASS THE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM
You can't bypass the entire system. It has to remain operational, however you can bypass the most common failure item.could try bypasssing fuel relay You bridge connections on relay if i remember right. The most common failure in these is the sensor in the ignition lock that reads the key pellet. That would mean replacing the ignition lock with a sensor included. That sensor can be bypassed. You would need a digital ohmeter to measure the resistance of the pellet in the key. Now go to Radio Shack and buy a resister of the exact same value as the key pellet. Go to the base of the steering column and locate the two thin white wires that go up to the sensor. Cut the two wires and solder the resister between the two ends coming from the harness. This will permanently bypass the sensor but not the rest of the system.
2001 Cadillac Deville coolant bleed screw Location??
I had the same problem with my 2001 Cadillac Deville, like you I had replaced literally everything thermostat, water pump, radiator, temperature sensor, reservoir and cap, hoses etc....I didnt have any leakage. I was told I had air in my coolant system. After a lot of research and running across the right mechanic I was able to locate the bleeder and remove the air from my lines. No problem since. The bleeder is located on yhe left side of the radiator on the crossover, mines was sideways..Hope this helps someone before they spend money for new head gasket problems..Try this it helped me....

Location of ignition control module 2001 cadilac deville
Ignition Coils/Modules
The electronic ignition system uses an individual ignition coil for each cylinder. There are two separate ignition module assemblies located in the camshaft cover of each cylinder bank. Each ignition module assembly contains an ignition control module and four ignition coils. Each ignition coil connects directly to a spark plug using a boot. This arrangement eliminates the need for secondary ignition wires. The ignition module assemblies receive power from a fused ignition feed. Both ignition module assemblies connect to chassis ground. A Reference Low and four ignition control (IC) circuits connect each ignition module assembly to the PCM. The PCM uses the individual IC circuits to control coil sequencing and spark timing for each ignition coil. The IC circuits transmit timing pulses from the PCM to the ignition control module to trigger the ignition coil and fire the spark plug. The PCM controls ignition system sequencing and timing events
