MY BLOW HEATER *** LIGHTER AC WONT WORK COULD IT
I would first check the fuse. They are usually on the same circuit, so I would say fuse. Otherwise a shorted wire is possible. you can pry out the lighter and check that the wire is on the lighter socket.

Bring the vehicle to a repair shop. This could be a dash board nightmare and you have to discon the SRS system before working on the vehicle.
Or its the position switch or its actuators. It a little tricky to remove the switch to see what happens once you do that and jump the terminals. The relay is pretty easy to check out with a voltmeter. Its your call the actuators are a pain to get to.

95 subaru imprezia how do you remove the exhaust
Hello, there will be 2 (14mm) nuts on each exhaust manifold flange if it's a 2.2 liter and 3 (14mm)on each if it's a 2.5 liter. Remove your under shield if equipped and then there is a bracket mounted on the rear of the transmission on the passengers side of the trans that the exhaust is bolted to(14mm). then the 2 bolts with the small springs must also be removed (bolts are 14mm/nuts are 12mm). You can't forget about the oxygen sensor connectors, they must be disconnected first, one should be towards the back of the trans and the other at the front, both coming off of the exhaust. It's easiest to locate the sensors first then follow the wires to the connectors. I hope this info helps...(subyguru)...

Ac blows only hot air,how to fix
You need to check that the compressor is running, if this
does not work could be due to lack of freon, electrical problems, if the
compressor runs you can touch the thick tube that goes into the
evaporator has to be cold, if cold and in the car does not come the cold is due to problems at the gate
of the evaporator or problem in the control panel for air conditioning.
Thanks

I have a subaru ej20 turbo engine i am changing
Information taken from Subaru Impreza workshop manual.
Apply a coat of oil to washer and bolt threads.
First tighten all bolts to 29nm (22ft lbs) in this order.
Looking at head with front of engine on your left hand side
Top Middle
Bottom Middle
Top Left
Bottom Right
Bottom Left
Top Right
After doing this tighten them further to 69nm (51ft lbs) in the same order as above.
Back off (loosen) all bolts 180 degrees in same order as above.
Then back them off again another 180 degrees.
Tighten all bolts in the order above to 29nm (22ft lbs) followed by a further 80 to 90 degrees
Tighten all bolts in order as above a further 40 - 45 degrees
Tighten bolts Top Middle and Bottom Middle another 40 - 45 degrees
Job done.

Hi my 1995 impreza wrx keeps overheating and water
After a review of your question. We have concluded that you may have a failed head gasket, If you have overheated it the will now have a cracked head.
RECOMENDATION:
1. Seek professional help and contact your local repair shop.
2. Go to your parts store and pick up a can of block sealer follow the directions explicitly and you may just have a chance of calming down your engine.
Hope this tip guides you to a solution that can help you.

1995 subaru will not restart when warm
Check your IAT . It controls fuel supply at start up. If it tells the computer the motor is cold it will flood the engine giving it extra fuel. Good luck and have a great day.

There is a locking solenoid under the plastic shroud around you shifter. When you put on your brake the solenoid is supposed to pull back to release the shifter.
The buzzing you are hearing is that solenoid trying to pull back. Going to have to replace it.

1995 subaru impreza looking to purchase, how
very. the manual box is quite tough, as are most subaru parts. I have had a lot of imprezas and a legacy and they are quite bullet-proof except for a fuel starvation fault in hard-tuned turbo models but that due to fuel rail design and too much boost ;)

Cooling fans not working
Probably down to a faulty switch, try bypassing the switch by using something metal (paper clip etc) to touch the conectors and complete the circuit while the car is hot enough that the fan should be on. If this solves it you need a new switch. If not look at thermostat?
