there is a fuse for that circuit in the fusebox lower dash if this is ok check that your getting power to the high beam wire at bulb holder if not the part of switch for high beam isn't working if are getting power check the bulb holders for warping etc as can get very hot and mishapen so that the bulb doesnt always sit on the contacts but if bothe lights out i'd think its a power supply problem

How to check if my fans work in my 1992 subaru impreza
I assume you mean engine cooling fans. The primary fan is bolted to the water pump and turns with the engine-always runs. The other fan is for when the engine begins to overheat. the coolant temp. sensor triggers it at high temp. You'll hear it kick in. My 1.8L Suby's have rarely utilized this electric fan. Be careful looking around under the hood. Both fans are right there on the front and ready to hurt you. If your car is overheating and this secondary fan has not come on, then it's not working. But you should look deeper to find out why the overheating is occurring-this fan is for "normal" overheating;long steep climbs etc.

Speedo wont work after radio install
Hi Sarah, It sounds like the speedometer cable came disconnected during install-probably front speaker wires!?! It goes in from the firewall from the transmission. On 1.8L and 2.2L engines it's not too hard to find the speedo cable. Unfortunately, in order to get it back on the gauge you have to pull the instrument cluster out. This is not impossible to do yourself, but I would recommend you acquire either a Chilton's or Haynes

I have a 95 Subaru impreza,and when I push on the
could be a couple things the plugs, wires or the coil id start with the plugs then wires make sure to do one plug and wire at a time so you dont mess up where the wires go because that would cause a miss fire then

Driving lights
Somewhere in the harness the lights have shorted to power. I would pull the fuse for them and see if that turns them off.

I have a 95 subaru
the waste gate is probably controlled by a vaccuum line. i have seen some home grown devices that would adjust the ammount of vaccuum signal the wastegate actuator recieves, there are also some turbo boost controllers that are available in the aftermarket that let you adjust the boost pressure from the driver seat and some even include a "turbo timer" that keeps the car running a predetermined ammount of time after you turn off the ignition so you dont melt down a turbo by just parking the car hot. of course the backyard stuff is cheap and somewhat effective, the turbo boost control unit is a much safer and more precise way of doing it. sounds like you already have some cash invested in this, it would be a shame to lose it over the cost of a boost control unit and melt your engine down by overboosting it and blowing out the head gaskets or the manifold blowing off. this is one i found rather quickly on the internet

I need a fuse box diagram for 1995 subaru impreze
Just pull the fuses until you find the one which has blown.Just as a precaution by the way, these past five years or so I have noticed a lot of these models with the same rear tail light issue. On many of them it's the actual contacts in the bulb housing which have failed. The plastic shroud around the bulb goes brittle over time and made worse with the heat. The casing distorts and allows the base positive contact to sink lower in the housing, thus causing a break in the connection to the bulb. I have repaired a few of these by soldering a blob of solder onto the centre bulb connector, thus raising it and allowing it to contact the bulb again. This is really just a temporary measure however as this repair may fail over time.Good luck.
