Timeing
Doesn't matter what engine it is as long as it has valves and uses petrol (not diesel), the camshaft lobes at cylinder #1 should always face upwards. This positions the valves at it's closed setting (combustion), this is known as Top Dead Center or TDC. With this in position, all your timing markers should align on their marks (cam pulley, crankshaft pulley or flywheel ring gear). Do not confuse yourself with other cylinders being this and that, as long as number 1 cylinder is at TDC or 0* you have set your timing correctly.
Pls. give this a rating, thank you.

water pump is ran by the timing belt. when changing the water pump the belt should be changed to. and sometimes the timing belt tensioner needs to be replaced too.worst case senerio. about a 350-400$ repair.
Blower motor quite, but there
That would be your relay for your blower motor. Either it is loose or it is faulty. They can just pull out and be put back in. They can also be tested with an ohmmeter.
My 1995 Subaru Impreza sometimes has a problem
It really is not a choke in the old sense. The temperature sensor by the throttle body butterfly measures the water temp and richens the fuel to start. If the sensor is bad it always says it is cold and enrichens the fuel thinking it is cold. Check the sensor and connection's. Hope this helps and have a great day.
How do you find the engine size of a subaru
Look under the hood there should be a white lable, on that lable will have the year and size of engine and other info., your car came with one of two engine's a 2.2L or a 2.5L look for those number's and that will be the size of your engine. If you still can't find in give you VIN# and I will decode it and get all your engine info.
Ac compressor clutch does not engage
to prevent damage to the air conditioning system there is a "low pressure switch" located on the condenser near the low pressure hose (large one) .. if the refrigerrant (R134A) gets too low then the clutch will be blocked from activating by that switch .. you can have your system tested and recharged or you can do that yourself .. the R134A is available at auto parts stores .. some come with a gague that is required for proper charge .. if you dont already have a gage then yoiu will need that one ... recharge kits often come with instructions .. other less likely but possible problems could be a fuse or bad AC clutch relay. sometimes damaged wiring or bad clutch will be the problem but much more likely just low fluid ..
Cant get the half/drive shaft out- from the
If you have already gotten it out of the wheel bearing end, then the trick is to push the shaft hard into the transmission and then pull it out quickly. It helps to compress the retaining clip and allow the spline to be removed.
WHERE IS THE FUSE FOR THE HEATER, *** LIGHTER ,I
You just have to use the process of illimination on this one. Just start pulling fuses one at a time and looking for burnt marks seperating or breaking the wire inside. If the fuse looks good replace it to the same place it came out of. Go to next fuse and do the same thing. Now when you come to the burnt/bad one, besure you replace it with one that has the same amps. No shortcuts. You could start a wire melt down if you go to high with the amperage. Also keep checking the rest of the fuses because sometimes when one goes another one will go too. Let me know how it works out. The Raz
MY BLOW HEATER *** LIGHTER AC WONT WORK COULD IT
I would first check the fuse. They are usually on the same circuit, so I would say fuse. Otherwise a shorted wire is possible. you can pry out the lighter and check that the wire is on the lighter socket.
Ac will not blow through center dash vents. Ac is
Bring the vehicle to a repair shop. This could be a dash board nightmare and you have to discon the SRS system before working on the vehicle.
Or its the position switch or its actuators. It a little tricky to remove the switch to see what happens once you do that and jump the terminals. The relay is pretty easy to check out with a voltmeter. Its your call the actuators are a pain to get to.
95 subaru imprezia how do you remove the exhaust
Hello, there will be 2 (14mm) nuts on each exhaust manifold flange if it's a 2.2 liter and 3 (14mm)on each if it's a 2.5 liter. Remove your under shield if equipped and then there is a bracket mounted on the rear of the transmission on the passengers side of the trans that the exhaust is bolted to(14mm). then the 2 bolts with the small springs must also be removed (bolts are 14mm/nuts are 12mm). You can't forget about the oxygen sensor connectors, they must be disconnected first, one should be towards the back of the trans and the other at the front, both coming off of the exhaust. It's easiest to locate the sensors first then follow the wires to the connectors. I hope this info helps...(subyguru)...
I have a 1995 subaru impreza. I cant get the
There is a locking solenoid under the plastic shroud around you shifter. When you put on your brake the solenoid is supposed to pull back to release the shifter.
The buzzing you are hearing is that solenoid trying to pull back. Going to have to replace it.
