you can get one from a dealer spares that will allow you to see what it looks like and find it in the vehicle I consider that the dealer may be touching your wallet as a reprogram of the immobilizer is all that is necessary

If no check engine light then you have a failing transmission which is unfortunately common in this year.

have vehicle scanned for trouble code the code will give area of problem --most likely problem with a sensor or a hub going bad after scanning you can pull the fuse for abs so you have normal braking

The power steering belt could be slipping or the pump is going down

If all the items you listed were replaced then you have either a ground breach where no ground is reaching the negative post of the headlamps or there is no power source connection. Start with verifying power to the headlamp switch. If yes, verify power from the relay. If yes, verify power to the terminal at the headlamp. If yes, start with the ground circuit. If there is no ground connection you can save years of frustration by fabricating a new ground circuit from the body to the headlamp ground terminal. I'm going o get frowned upon for that but, hey, if it works for the time being, right?

Taking a wild guess here but could be a theft system problem.

you get a key and fob or buy a new steering colunm and body control module

It sounds like you may have a defective ignition starter switch. It is located near the bottom top of the steering column under the dash.

sounds like a cracked Vacuum line to the Heater door

I'm not 100% on this one but 99.9% sounds like the body control module was reset. The car would have to be brought to the dealer to SYNCH the BCM & security system. Possibly just SYNCH just the remotes to the car. Good Luck, Frank M

there is a fuel pump relay in the fuse box. but have you checked the fuel pump safety shut off switch. the car has automatic shut off if your in a crash. sometime hitting a bad bump in the road will cause it to trip. it will have a little pop up button that needs to be pushed back down. it can be located several place in a car but usually in the trunk

Most likely the fuel pump is ok, but there is likely air in the fuel line that you need to bleed off under the hood. It is possible that the fuel pump went bad, and the way to know is to check the fuel pressure (same place you bleed it under the hood). The fuel pump is in the tank, so it's a real pain to change.

Turns over but wont start or doesn't turn over? If does not turn over check solenoid then starter,if turns over, have someone turn it over while you bang on bottom of fuel tank, if it starts your in for a pump if not you will need to start electrical diagnostics. Also does it have spark

Pull the error codes in the ECM to see what is causing the no-start. It could be a faulty fuel pump or fuse for the pump or???? Don't guess---pull the codes and don't waste time and money. Even if you have to purchase an inexpensive code reader

The only engine I can find in any 95 Mercury is a 1.9L So here is the Timing alignment marks. Hope this helps you
