1996 Lexus LS 400. It keeps blowing out the relay when I activate the high beams. Any thoughts here?

Question edited for clarity, add maker. Question moved to model category. You are the only person the report this issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=1996+Lexus+LS+400+blows+headlight+relay There is a dead short somewhere, but relays can be checked for correct operation and also the two feeds to the relay can be tested. One is 12 volts low amps + and - and the the other is the 12 volts high amps feed + and - to the headlight itself. Operation comes via an instruction from the BCM requested via the stalk switch. You need the Dealership or a good auto electrician. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

My 1996 LS 400 appears

Always go directly to the ground and check it is clean and well connected. I speak mainly here of the body grounds. Battery to starter is fine cause it cranks well and headlights are operable, it's just the battery ground to the body that's giving you trouble. When electrical problems arise, Always go directly to the grounds first.

1996 Lexus 400 where fuel reset

To answer your question specifically it would be no. There is no inertia switch that feeds the fuel pump that can be turned off or reset . The engine control computer turns on a series of two different relays to control power to the fuel pump. When in the start position the circuit opening relay and the fuel pump relay or both energize causing the fuel pump to run at full pressure or fast speed. From there the engine control computer determines which demand is on the fuel pump and either turns off the fuel pump relay and leaves the circuit opening relay on to supply power through a resistor to slow the pump down for less demand. The EFI main relay is the main supply relay to both of these sub relays. The fuel pump is powered up ultimately by the 20 amp EFI number one fuse. All of these components are located in the fuse box under the hood. If the circuit opening relay is not working it's powered up by the 10 amp ignition fuse inside the vehicle. It's unlikely it is the 10 amp ignition fuse because that powers up a lot of other things also.

1996 Lexus 400 died wont restart

First, please post your question only once. There is NO INERTIA SWITCH on your vehicle. The only thing to check is FUSE #1, which is a 20A fuse that provides power to your EFI control. If that is good, check for voltage at the fuel pump when the vehicle is turned on. If it has power to the fuel pump but the fuel pump is not running, replace the fuel pump.

What if it is the piston pins?

Hard to say but very bad either way. It is going to take some serious investigation and corrective action either way. Biggest issue will likely be where to stop - If you dig in and find a bad wrist pin, do you replace that and button it all up and hope for the best or keep looking and replacing stuff? Good luck and if you have time, add in developments via comment to the original question.

The entire car NO ONE NO PROFESSIONAL will do what you ask or is needed, regardless of age or mileage That is not the business their in Shops diagnose & repair failed & lots of neglected vehicles To do what is required would take at least $1,000 You need all fluids changed, all filters, ignition parts at least inspected Lots of road testing with scan tool It is 18 years old I would be here for an hour to answer that question

I have a codeP0770, Def :shift solenoid "E" malfunction Prob cause: shift solenoid stuck open, block oil passage

Try having the transmission fluid completely flushed using a machine designed to do this, a lot of times the shift solenoid gets clogged with small particles due to contaminated transmission fluid, it's seldom the solenoid itself, flushing the fluid including the converter may open the oil passage so the solenoid can function correctly.
